As soon as we landed, I pulled down the screen the Doctor always used to look at the surrounding area.

"Hey be careful with that!" scolded Amy. I ignored her. During the fifteen seconds it took to get here, she had given me a lot of dirty looks, which I did not appreciate. What did I do to her? I honestly was giving up on her liking me.

What I saw on the screen made me gasp. Outside was Amy kneeling over Rory, and the Doctor pulling her back to the TARDIS. Or trying to.

"I definitely did not want to relive that," whispered the Doctor. Genie jumped and smacked him on the shoulder.

"You scared me half to death!" She saw the emotion in his eyes fade from surprised bemusement to sad depression, what Genie could have guessed was what they looked like before she turned around. She hugged him. "Don't worry, I happen to know that you will get him back. Amy will remember. It'll be okay. For now... Enjoy her company. And remember that she loves you." All these things I whispered into his ear so Amy couldn't hear me.

"Doctor! Enough flirting, let's get out there!" exclaimed Amy, annoyed.

"Oh, no! Much too dangerous!" said the Doctor. I bolted to the door.

"So why does she get to go!" Amy whined. Quite childish, if you ask me.

"It's different-listen Amy, you have to do as I say." He held up his screwdriver. "When I get out of the TARDIS, put the sonic in that hole in the dash. It's life or death. Yours."

Right away I realized what he was doing. "You bastard," I said blatantly. I rarely cuss, but that episode... I did not like it one bit.

"Wh-"

"Don't pull that with me. I know you did that with Clara and it broke her heart," I reprimanded, not caring what rules of time I just broke. "No."

"Bu-"

"And you're staying here, too. I'm not letting you just disappear."

"Bu-"

"No." I took a deep breath. "This is something I have to do on my own."

"Bu-"

"Would you stop with the 'buts!'" yelled Amy. "I don't know what's going on, but this sounds important, so Doctor you better shut up and stand over here with me. Let her do what she needs to do."

Her thick Scottish accent sweetened the words, but when it got down to it, I'm betting she just wanted me to leave. It didn't matter though, as long as the Doctor had someone to hold his hand while I... while I died. I suppose it wasn't exactly dying. How can you die if you never even existed in the first place?

The Doctor looked at me one last time and sighed in defeat, turning towards Amy. I went to open the door but felt my shoulder being pulled to turn my body towards the Doctor. Apparently one last goodbye was in order, but I was not expecting this.

He pulled me closer to him and kissed me desperately in a way that amazed me. This side of the Doctor... I thought was non existent. Amy gasped, but I didn't care, I kissed him back. After what seemed like forever but was probably only a few seconds, I pushed away.

"Genie Diamond..."

"Go on, say it, you'll regret it if you don't, you know that," I said playfully yet sincerely.

"Genie Diamond, I love you."

My heart melted but before I got the chance to say it back, I was interrupted by the sounds of cloister bells.

"Doctor, can you stop with your girlfriend for a second?! What's happening?!" demanded Amy.

"We need to leave. Now," he said. His eyes met mine, and all the words that could have been said out loud didn't need to be. I could see it in the way his eyes showed all vulnerability.

"Goodbye, Doctor... I love you, too."

And with that I was put the door, bracing myself for what would happen. The TARDIS started to fade, and suddenly

Did you like that? Was it good? Idk I thought it was 😜 anyway that's the end of the first book. I know it's short but it was my first so the next will be longer I promise. Make sure to leave feedback! :)
