Chapter 2

As soon as Genie walked into the TARDIS, she ran around the console. It really was bigger on the inside! This was every fangirl's dream.

"Woohoo!" she screamed. "Can we go to space? Or can we go to 1800s London? Or maybe-" The Doctor cut her off.

"Wait, wait, wait- hold on. How do you know all of this?" Gods, he's so hot when he's confused. But she wasn't sure what to say to answer his question. Should she tell him? Could she? Was it against the Shadow Proclamation to expose Time Lord science and other galactic information?

"Oh, timey-wimey stuff," she decided. "Now let's get on with it! You know what? I say we go to the Aztec ruins- before they were ruined, of course. But-"

"Timey-wimey?" The Doctor interjected.

"-we could always go to New New New New New New New New New New New New New New New York!" she finished. "I'll set us adrift."

"Adrift?" Martha questioned.

Genie ignored her and, to the Doctors horror, started pushing buttons and pulling levers. He started to protest, but shut up when they found themselves in space. Adrift, like Genie said. Genie walked to the doors and pulled them open.

"Ha! I do know how!" she said. "In your face, @whovian_in_narnia!" she exclaimed, referring to a fellow blogger who had claimed that she, @doctorwho_booknerd, would not be able to fly the TARDIS. If she could see her now...

The Doctor looked at her, astonished, then sort of let his eyes stare off into space. Genie could tell the wheels were turning in his head. How? This girl could fly the TARDIS. This... Impossible Girl! She was an impossible girl!

"@whovian_in_narnia?" Martha asked. "Are you some sort of blogger?"

"Why, yes. Yes, I am." Genie replied flatly.

With that, the TARDIS shook fiercely, the force pushing Martha, Genie, and even the Doctor down. They had landed somewhere, and the force of the impact was terrible.

"Ouch... Was that me, Doctor?" But the Doctor didn't say anything. Still staring. "Maybe she doesn't like me... Oh, no!" Genie ran to the TARDIS console and started stroking it, her blonde hair falling across it as she laid her head down.

"Doctor... What is she doing?"

"Oi! She's not just a machine! She's the TARDIS." Genie scolded.

"Exactly right!" the Doctor said, snapping out of whatever trance he was in. He made his way to the door with a smile in his face. "Let's take a look, shall we?" he asked. "Genie Diamond, you can take first look."

Genie smiled, her dull brown eyes brightening, the golden flecks standing out a bit more. "Well, if you insist!"

Asdfghjkl, asdfghjkl, asdfghjkl, her mind was repeating. The Doctor was letting her take the first look around. She wanted to do something before, though.

"Fantastic! Allons-y!" she exclaimed in a British accent with a big goofy grin on her face. "Geronimo!" she said as she thrust the door open.

Red.

White.

Orange.

Blue.

Yellow.

Daleks everywhere. They had landed on a Dalek ship.

The TARDIS hated her. A lot, apparently.
