Right away I found myself standing in a... Museum?? I didn't quite think my plan through, I guess. I checked the date. The fifth of June, 2010... That would be... After Rory didn't exist? So I went too far. Just great... But I could have been at that museum the Doctor took Amy to after that whole incident... The-wait, what was it called?
I ran down the stairs of the museum and out the doors. Musée d'Orsay. Of course! I thought. The museum in Paris. I ran back in and went straight to the Van Gogh exhibit. I searched for the painting The Church at Auvers, and upon finding it, checked for the Krafayis. Still there. I sighed a big sigh of relief. I wasn't too late. Even though I messed up, it wasn't as bad as I thought. The Doctor would help me, right? Or would he not remember me? I hadn't done the thing yet but... How did that even work anyway? Ultimately, I decided to wait for him to come.
Soon enough, to my relief, Amelia Pond and the Eleventh Doctor traipsed into the room. I almost swooned. They were even prettier in person.
I watched him talk to Amy about Van Gogh for a while, then decided to walk up to him... Would he remember me? I walked up behind him and tapped his shoulder.
"Excuse me, Doctor, but there's a pressing matter you must help me attend to." Hopefully I sounded smart.
He turned around in the way he does with his coat flying. "Excuse me, what did you just call me?"
I needed to be blunt. "I'm Genie Diamond. I don't know if you remember me, but you knew me in your tenth form. Now if you don't mind, I wish to speak with you in the TARDIS," I said firmly, but almost at the same time reluctantly. Kind of like Anna when she was talking to Kristoff, I thought randomly.
He just smiled, but Amy's expression was confused as ever. "Well then, let's go, shall we?" he asked. Did he remember me? He didn't really say. I didn't actually give him time to.
We walked out the doors of the museum and got to the TARDIS. As soon as I saw that beaut, I felt a pang of happiness and nostalgia. I missed my Doctor. He turned the key and as soon as I got in I started pouring out my story, at the end putting in my request.
"I need you to take me to that crack in the universe. I need to not exist."
"I still don't like this..." he said.
"Still?" asked Amy.
"So you do remember? So does that mean you did bring me back?" I asked. "But wait if you did bring me back where am I now? Like, future me should be here. With you. Right?"
Amy crossed her arms, but once again, the Doctor just smiled. "Spoilers."
I rolled my eyes. "Whatever, but you are going to take me to the crack in time, correct?"
Amy looked me up and down in a judging way, making me feel bad that we didn't kick it off. She was so amazing! I hoped she started liking me soon. She looked at the Doctor and sighed.
"Well, Genie Diamond. Looks like we've got our work cut out for us, eh?" And with a wink he started the TARDIS engines and we were off on our mission.
