After finishing the breakfast, the two of you separated: you went to make a bed and Ash to  wash his face and brush the teeth. Nevertheless, you met again and started implementing your plan about the sleepover.

Ash called his brother, who was, unsurprisingly, hanging out with Shorter, so it didn't take much time to settle everything.

Whereas you facetimed Yut Lung.

"Hey, bestie."

"Hi, bitch." - He said, smiling at the camera.

"Wanna go to a sleepover with me, Ash, Eiji and Shorter?" - You grinned, knowing his answer, especially after the way his look has changed after the "Shorter"-part of your suggestion.

"Are you even asking!? Where and when."

Ha.

"Tomorrow, at Ash's." - You assured Yut, before he nodded.

"Yeah, and I of course know where Ash lives and what time exactly we're meeting."

"Oh, yeah, um," - you wanted to apologize but stopped yourself, "520 Park Avenue, 7 pm"

"Oki, see ya there."

The phone went dead and you looked over at Ash, who was already done with his phone call.

"What do you want to do?" - You asked him, already thinking about all the possible activities for this sunny day.

"I honestly planned on going to the library today..." - He paused. " But if you don't want to go with me, I can go sometime else."

He goes to libraries? He? Libraries?

"S-sure! Do you go there often?"

"Pretty much. It's my favorite place in this shitty city."

"Oh, wow."

"Yeah." - He turned away to the window, breathing deeply. "Are you going to change now?"

"Yep."

With no other word you opened the closet, taking a huge black long-sleeve with skinny black jeans and a cute belt on top of that.

You crossed your hands and took the ends of your tee, noticing a red face with a corner of your eye.

"I-I am turning away!" - He blurted, flustered.

Was I that excited about going out with him and forgot to fucking ask him to turn away?

"Y-yeah.."

You changed, letting Ash see your fit.

He opened his mouth, about to say something, but seemed like cat got his tongue.

"You look gorgeous." - He finally said.

"Thanks."

Now, when both of your were ready to go, you went out of your little apartment, heading to his car.

As always, he drove to that cozy coffee shop first. Knowing your tastes, he went inside alone, ordering drinks for you by himself.

As soon as he left the car, noisy silence filled your ears. It was the time for you to think.

Ash... I didn't think he was so... fragile? I thought he was all cocky cool boss, owning a bar. Now he, wearing a black turtleneck with a creamy coat and a pair of glasses, which were covering his a little bit swollen eyes after crying yesterday, takes me to his favorite library, not forgetting to buy some caramel tea. This side of him is something new and I honestly like it. Oh god, he kissed me on a forehead today... Does he really like me in that way? I mean, we did make out once but I thought he wouldn't want it with me ever again. Should I ask him? Or maybe I better just leave it be? Or... what?

"Here." - Ash woke you up from the thoughts, handing your coffee.

You thanked him, making yourself comfortable in the seat; hot drinks in hot weather is not really a fresh thing, however, even so, you enjoyed it.

"Woah," - you breathed; the first impression of The New York Public Library was definitely nothing less than amazing: the building was clearly old yet glamorous. Snow white columns, which were protecting the entrance, were surrounded with people going in and out of the library.

"It's beautiful, huh?" - proudly said Ash, going up the stairs.

"Mhmm.." - finally entering, you mumbled.
