Ash's POV .
"Ugh."
I'm so tired.
No one actually listens to me here, they all just make me do the stupid paper work for the new "restaurant".
I wonder how's Y/N..? My heart warms up at the thought of her angelic smile, her soothing voice and her character, she really is something.
Does she even miss me..?
It's not the first time when the memories about his close ones distract him from work. It will never be easy.
Am I that weak?
No. I need to leave this hole.
I think again about all the possibilities for me, however, thing is... If I leave, they will kill Y/N. They still need someone to be head here.
Someone–?
I got up abruptly, Sing Soo-Ling!
End of Ash's POV.
Head pounding, mouth dry, you struggle with opening your eyes as you figured where were you laying in this hangover morning. Black shiny locks were messily scattered on the pillow next to yours (color of your hair), he wasn't wearing clothing from the last night, it appears he wasn't too exhausted to even change to the pajamas.
Wait, Eiji is—?
You fell off the bed with a high pitched "eee" sound, pulling the blanket with you.
"Huh?" - his low tired voice came out, when his head popped up from his previous position.
You blankly stared at him in awe, he's got that body. Naked one though. As soon as he realized his current look, he swore under his breath, blushing deeply.
"G-G-Good morning!" - He exclaimed, scratching the back of his head.
You nodded, remaining silent for some reason.
He got the hint and closed his eyes, giving you your privacy. You put on last night's clothes rather speedy, coming back to your senses after the awakening.
"You can look now." - You assured him.
"I'm so sorry for..." - Eiji sat up, speaking shamefacedly with the eyes of a guilty puppy. "For making you worry about— Making you get the wrong idea."
"Wrong?" - You hopefully repeated.
"Yes, trust me nothing happened, but I was still too drunk to do the smart thing and sleep on the couch."
You chuckled, "Haha, I must've been begging you to sleep here as I usually do. I'm the guest in the house, so I must be the one on the couch."
The growing tension finally went out of the room, now it turned to a positive friendly conversation.
"You're a nice kisser, though." - You smirked at him, remembering how easy it is to make his cheeks light up with pink ish color.
"Sorry about that too." - He pouted.
Raising an eyebrow you asked, "Why the apology?"
"I don't know-"
He's nice. He's that kind type of guy who would always ask for a permission, be respectful and be the cute one. It's not bad, you know? It would be wrong, if you think of it as a "ash-left-and-now-lets-be-a-couple-cause-we-both-have-lost-our-close-one-and-we-need-to-somehow-forget-him" thing. Nevertheless, it's never bad to try, right? Maybe, despite how selfish it might sound, it'd be easier for us.
"Hey, Eij?"
"That's me!"
"Do you like anybody?"
He seemed to actually get puzzled by the question, before he replied, "I'm not sure, maybe."
Your heart started beating faster, not because you thought it was really you, but because it felt like you were going to betray Ash. It was a hurtful beating.
"You?" - He asked.
"Same." - Said you nonchalantly, shrugging.
You both just stared at each other like two idiots, awkwardly rubbing thumbs against each other.
"Ash?"
You opened your mouth to answer "yes" immediately, however, it's not what is more rational in this situation.
"No."
"O-"
How awkward, you thought.
"Who is it then? I-If you're okay with telling me, of course!"
"Guess." - You didn't want to say it yourself.
"Uh- I have no idea." - He admitted, "Do I even know him?"
"Yes, you do."
"There are not so many options.. Was he in the club yesterday?"
"Yeah."
"Maybe Skipper?"
"No, not my type."
"Sing?"
"He's gay."
"Then I don't know."
"You."
