You woke up with a completely positive mood, you had the feeling this day's going to be amazing. You could tell that just by the way how bright and blue the sky was, somehow it was always a sign.

Hearing more than just one Ash's voice in the kitchen, you stood up and went here. After getting closer you have recognized the second voice – Eiji; their conversation seemed to be serious according to their voice timbres.

"Good morning, guys," - you smiled at them.

"Hi, Y/N," - Eiji smiled back, changing his expression fast.

Ash joined Eiji and made a fake smile, - "Slept well?"

"Yes, actually great," - you replied, sitting at the island next to the blond. "What were you talking about? It seemed to be kind of serious."

"Nah, not really, don't worry about that," - Ash assured you, standing up with a purpose of handing you a plate. "Here, I made you a breakfast, hope it's good."

You blushed, he always makes the breakfast, you definitely loved it but it was sort of new to you; the only two people who cared about you that much so that they made you things like breakfast just because they wanted to were your parents, basically.

"Thank you, you know you don't have to do it?" - You looked away, earning a suspicious look from the black haired boy.

"I want to, that's why I do it, so," - Ash sat back, "But if you dislike my food, I can stop.."

Eiji laughed, a little bit hysterically, - "Lovebirds in their natural habitat."

Blushing even deeper, you and Ash looked at each other, then at Eiji with a look of embarrassment.

You took a bite of Ash's veggie burrito, at first just to be able to change the topic fast with a line like 'Oh, it's actually pretty nice!', however, this food turned out to be even better than his usual meals.

"Ash, Oh my god, that is so good," - you chewed it with such a huge amount of enjoyment, maybe... maybe it's because you haven't had a lot of hearty foods recently.

"I'm glad." - His voice came out deep and silent, it was unlike him.

Well, at the very beginning he really seemed to be silent and all cold type of guy, now, nevertheless, you knew his real self and it is the kind of person you want to be around all the time, kind of person who actually cares even when tries to hide it.

You liked it.

He wrapped his delicate hands around your waist, clinging fingers onto your skin, as you let your arm be free and ran it through his smooth medium hair meanwhile slightly scratching his scalp. You both deepened the kiss simultaneously, looking each other in the eyes.

Heat in your cheeks grew at the speed of light at the memory from that evening after the ball, when you kissed.

"Why are you blushing this time?" - Eiji asked, genuinely curious.

"O-Oh, nothing, hehe!"

Of course it sounds true, Y/N. - you thought to yourself.

"Mhmm, haha." - Eiji let out some kind of a laughter, but it did not sound natural; they both have been acting weird since the beginning, are they hiding something from me?

You finished your burrito, sometimes participating in chitchats between the three of you.

"Well, I gotta go," - Ash stood up, now you noticed his clothing: he was wearing a costume. How could you not pay attention to that?

"Wait, where?"

"It's for the job." - he said in a frustration.

Oh, yeah, that makes sense.

"Okay, then see ya in the evening?" - you asked, walking him to the door.

"Have fun today, Y/N." - He looked at you for one more, as if he was trying to stretch the time before leaving. "Bye."

He probably didn't hear your quiet "Bye" but you just kept standing in a doorway, looking at him disappear; Eiji did the same.

"Do you love him, Y/N?" - Eiji spoke.

That just threw you off kilter, why is he even asking that?

"I- I guess I," - You tried to come up with an answer, the words were on top of your tongue. "I mean, he's amazing and I would definitely not say I do not love him but..."

"I get it." - Eiji smiled at you, he understood what were you trying to say. That is a hard thing to answer right away but still you could tell a lot about human's feeling towards someone just by their reaction at the question.

"Why did you ask though..?"

"Curiosity, I guess."
