This was already the afternoon before the sleepover. After visiting that library, you and Ash separated, it's reasonable for two of you to have some time apart from each other, even if none of you wanted to. The next day after that, you spent working, no one canceled job.

No need for any kind of make up or hair, you will probably fall asleep during some game or movie anyway, so you put on your favorite pajamas right away, going to prepare some snacks and food for dinner, not like guys will end up cooking.

Ash's POV.

I just finished cleaning up the slightly messy apartment, hopefully guys will not feel uncomfortable here.

It's a first time I'll have a sleepover... But it's not even the thing – we all have never met all together before, I wonder what will that be like: Yut Lung, who's clearly going to flirt and seduce Shorter, Eiji who will innocently agree to play everything we will offer, Y/N who will... What?

I don't know what to expect, but what I know is that she will be very sweet.

I went to take a shower, grabbed the towel but when I was about to turn on the water, I heard someone calling me.

It was from an unknown number.

"Yes?" - I casually asked.

"If you don't come now to old Dino's office, you're going to regret it."

Even if I had something to say I couldn't, the phone went dead.

No way I am going to that old dick's place, no way I am replacing him.

End of Ash's POV.

It was finally time to go, you put on your shoes and left to blonde's home. You were excited about the evening, it's going to be fun, all friends together!

By the time you got there, you met Yut Lung not so far from the entrance and waved at him.  You knocked on the door, meeting the emerald green eyes.

"Hi~!" - You and Yut said in the unison, throwing the bags with dinner at the trio inside - Ash, Eiji and Shorter.

Yut immediately made his way to the guy with pink hair, who clearly didn't mind the company.

"Hey, Aslan, got any games or anything to do?" - Eiji tickled his head to the side, placing a finger on his chin in an asking tone.

Aslan?

"Aslan?" - you let your mind speak, "You never actually told me your real name."

You looked down a little bit, thinking about the time he was telling you about his childhood and basically remembered that day. Now it is not a surprise but why did he not tell it to you?

"Y/N, I am not used to it, so I didn't even think of telling it, sorry." - He apologized, his eyes are looking at the side.

"It's okay! I just wondered," - you stopped, "that's it."

You met his eyes again, now awkwardly looking away a second later.

"Hey!" - Shorter screamed from the living room, "No one got chips!? Are you guys serious!?"

He did sound kind of offended though.

"If you need it so much, I can go buy some quick." - Ash offered.

"I'll join." - it was not a question that left your lips before you could think of that.

"Okay."

It was not as planned, you didn't plan on leaving again, it's a distraction from the sleepover after all. You and Ash walked down the dark street in a complete silence, when something moved on the other side of the street, making Ash look up with a serious expression. His sharp and now cold eyes looked over the street, worried.

"Stay close to me." - Ash ordered.

You nodded and got closer, slightly hugging his arm. Whatever was happening, if that made Ash worried it was considerable. Cool shivers ran down your spine when someone suddenly grabbed your shoulder from behind, forcing you to scream.

Unknown person's hand cover your mouth, pulling you away from Ash before you could actually get enough attention from the other people. That's when you noticed a gun in his second arm.

Ash reacted right away, kicking the man out with a fast, barely noticeable maneuver.

"Are you okay? Are you hurt?" - He started checking you out everywhere, making sure you were not damaged.

"Y- I-" - you stuttered, "I guess."

It was the first time someone attacked you like that on the street, it was scary, if Ash wasn't there... You didn't know what would happen to you in that case.

"Tch." - He clenched his teeth, frowning, "It wasn't supposed to happen. They didn't have the right to hurt you."

"What? Who?"

"Forget it. It'll be alright, I promise I'll protect you at any cost, okay?" - He rubbed your arm with a reassuring smile.

You kept standing just like a statue, but shaking. You were still affected by that man's actions, however, Ash's presence made it better; you looked him into eyes, nodding.
