Unrequited Love

CH. 14

Jungkook was looking around the cafe well the cafe has a simple interior that suits the blue sea. The vibe is somehow warm especially the waiters are all hospitable.

"This is Jungkook my soon to be son-in-law, well he is here for a vacation with Taehyung. He'll be the new model for our cafe now." Mrs. Kim directly said to the workers.

"We'll be having our pictorial later to our every 6 months changing theme of the cafe." Mrs. Kim aaid.

They went back to work, their theme for this month is maid cafe costume, and now they will change it to pastel.

"Let's go to my office—" mrs. Kim was cut off words when Jungkook asked her if he can help.

"I— is it okay to you? I don't want you to get tired you are pregnant." Mrs. Kim said.

"I will stop if I feel tired. I just want to help maybe just taking orders at the cashier. I've always wanted to try working in a cafe." Jungkook said smiling. Mrs. Kim made an awe look with how humble the younger despite of him being rich. "Okay." Mrs. Kim answered. "At least for an hour or two?" She said and Jungkook nodded excitedly and kindly asked the cashier girl to help.

"Damn, there is no reason for Taehyung not to fall in love with him." Mrs. Kim commented and elbowed Yugyeom's arm slightly.

"Yas! I think he already is. But he is still confused because, of his long time feelings for Jimin hyung." Yugyeom answered.

Taehyung was busily reading some files for his virtual meeting but he can't stop thinking about Jungkook. From the past 3 days he got used to Jungkook being around his office seating at the sofa talking and asking questions about when he was a little boy. How he wish that their baby would get Taehyung's beautiful eye lashes.

So he decided to call him so he can talk to him while he was with his mom or he can hear him talking.

"Baby? What are you doing?" Taehyung asked cutely, Jungkook chuckled.

"I am helping mom's cafe I'm at the cashier." Jungkook answered. "Wait I need to take some orders." Jungkook added. "Okay, don't end the call I want to hear your voice." Taehyung said in the other line and started working comfortably.

"Hey, cutie boy. Are you new here? Do you mind if I get your number?" Taehyung stopped checking the file on his ipad when he heard an annoying voice of a man trying to get his fiancé's phone number.

"What is your order?" Jungkook asked he can hear the younger sounded so awkward.

"You are my order." The man answered.

"He is not a food so you better watch your nasty mouth." Taehyung answered in angered and full of authority from the other line.

Jungkook jumped in surprised when Taehyung started talking.

"Who is that? You are working and using your phone at the same time? Where is your manager?" The man said and started being so scandalous.

"Oh hello, I'm the manager and he is my son-in-law not someone you can order. This is a cafe not a club, so you better leave or I will call the police for trying to harass him." Mrs. Kim directly said and the guy went out the cafe.

"Are you alright kook?" Mrs. Kim asked.

"Kookie? Go to mom's office rest and I will call the photographer for you photoshoot there. Just stay inside the office don't come out." Jungkook and mrs. Kim hear that Taehyung was in a hurry.

"But the photographers will come here at 5pm in the after—" and Taehyung ended the call.

"I — can I stay here? I want to help mom." Jungkook muttered again, well mrs. Kim can see that Jungkook enjoying it so she let him continue for an hour again.

Jungkook stayed there he is really enjoying it, he is now thinking that he should open his own cafe too.

The glass door of the cafe opened harshly that bell chimes were so loud that everyone caught their attention. Jungkook saw a Taehyung who looks like he is not in the mood— he stepped back when Taehyung went straight, and pulled him inside his mom's office in the cafe. Mrs. Kim wasn't around she checked some supplies at the back while Yugyeom went out to get the props and the staffs who will fix the setting of the pictorial.

"I told you to stay here." Taehyung said sternly, Jungkook removed Taehyung's hand that was holding him harshly.

"I— I want to help mom out there I also enjoy being there." Jungkook said smiling.

"Jungkook? There is a random pervert guy who wants your number and you want to stay there?!" Taehyung said his voice started raising— Jungkook lowered his head bit his lower lip. W—what happened about the me having a freedom to choose on what I want to do?

"If I told you to stay here stay here—" Taehyung stopped when he saw Jungkook was crying. Taehyung realized that he was too much—

"Y—you told me that I— I should do what I want? B—but why are you doing this now? Y—you are like my parents— t— telling me w—hat—" Taehyung then hugged him.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean it— I don't know why and what happened to me? I'm sorry— I was just scared and worried that the guy might came back." Taehyung said.

"I— feel jealousy, that someone is trying to flirt to my fiancé. I— know you are not actually mine I don't own you. But shit— after hearing that nasty man— I just want to punch his face for trying to flirt with you. Sorry kookie." Jungkook stopped crying he wiped his tears.

"You don't have too— I will not give my number to anyone. I'm not stupid to do it." Jungkook answered.

"I'm sorry I get mad for no reason. I hurt your feelings I'm such a jerk." Taehyung said chuckling at his own stupidity. "It's okay you came back to your senses and apologized to me." Jungkook answered. "Sorry I made you worried." Jungkook added. Then Taehyung hugged him again.

Jimin has been waiting for Taehyung to call him. Well his best friend told him that he will call him when it's afternoon in Korea. He sighed in dismay—

"Chim? Why you aren't sleeping?" Jeongyeon asked.

"I can't sleep." Jimin answered shortly and looked at his phone, Jeongyeon looked at him.

"Taehyung told me he will call us to catch up— but looks like he forget about us." Jimin said and Jeongyeon can hear that he was disappointed.

"I've been asking you if you were jealous of him being with Jungkook. But you didn't answer me." Jeongyeon said looking at her fiancé.

"I am not. It is just I don't get it, I feel like he was avoiding us." Jimin answered. He hugged Jeongyeon. "I am sorry. Let's go to sleep." Jimin said.
