Unrequited Love

CH. 22

It was just a normal day for Jungkook... well after the gender reveal they become trending on every social media accounts. Some loves their relationship and of course some hate them— but the two doesn't give a fact what's important to them is their baby will be coming soon... and that's what matters.

Jungkook was busily doing the laundry when he heard the doorbell rings. He stopped what he was doing to check who it was— cuz he was not expecting someone today.

It was his mother. Jungkook looked at her and bowed his head as a sign of respect— he asked her to come inside and made her seat on the couch.

"Hello mom." He greeted.

His mother put an envelope at the center table. "You quit your business major." She started.

"You are literally not listening to us— I'm your mother Jungkook." She muttered full of authority to her son.

Jungkook lowered his head. "I— I am not happy with my business major— I — I don't want to be a business man." Jungkook answered stuttering.

"Jungkook. What makes you happy will never make you the best. I clearly— no we clearly told you that you should take business and study hard for you to be the honor of the family— but look what you did? You being careless. Not listening to us— you become pregnant— you let some random guy make you pregnant—"

"Stop mom." Jungkook muttered making his mother stop from talking. His mother sighed in disbelief— "did you think he will love you till the end? Come on Jungkook. We both know that Taehyung was forced to be in this marriage." She muttered. He used to forced on this marriage.

"Also you are the one who begged for him to marry you like desperate poor child ha never received love." She added.

"It— It's because of you— it's because of you and dad. I always tried my best to everything mom— I always tried to do the things you want me to do. I always follow you like a good puppy so I can fulfill your wants— but I was never enough. What I did was never enough—" He finally said those words his been hiding all to himself.

"I was never loved in my own house and I was never give that attention on every achievements that I received— small or big achievement it was not enough for you and dad." Jungkook added he started crying.

"You two are good at everything but not in parenting— that's why— that's why I end up asking and seeking for love— whom gladly I found to Taehyung hyung— to that one mistake night." Jungkook said between his sobs— he received a slap— Jungkook hissed in paid he felt his cheeks are burning because of the slap he received. His mother— he was madly angry—

"Ungrateful child!" She said then walked out the house. He suddenly feel dizzy— he seats on the sofa trying his best to catch his breathe... this was the first time he talked back to his mother— he felt bad— but somehow the burden that he's been carrying for awhile now... he was able to tell her. He started crying even more... He need to put some eyes on his cheeks so he won't be that swollen cuz he knows Taehyung will notice it— also his eyes. He should stop crying...

Later that day ~

Taehyung walk inside the house a bit tired with all the works and meetings at the office— he needs his baby koo to get some energy. He went straight to the kitchen—

"My baby." He said and backed hugged Jungkook who was busily stirring the soup for tonights dinner.

"How's my baby?" Taehyung asked as he burry his face near to Jungkook's neck so he can get some access to the younger's smell.

"A bit tired. Because, I did the laundry today." Jungkook answered. "You should go upstairs so you can change and eat dinner." Jungkook added still his focus on his cooking while Taehyung— was being addicted to his baby koo's smell.

"How about you? You sound so tired." Jungkook muttered. Taehyung break the back hug and lean on the other side of the sink but still can see the beautiful face of his bunny koo— but— "what the hell happened to your face?" Taehyung asked panicking and held Jungkook's other cheek.

"What happened to this Jungkook?" Taehyung asked with furrow. Jungkook softly removed Taehyung's hand to his face.

"I— hmm— I got slapped." Jungkook answered and turned off the heat from the stove then moved the pot at the kitchen table. Taehyung followed him. "Who?! Who did this to my baby?! Tell me!" The older voice was raising due to irritation— like why would they slapped an angel like Jungkook?!

"Ah— Mom." Jungkook answered shortly. "She went here... and he knows about me shifting course... then she got mad that I was being stubborn... she also called me that I was begging for your love... which is true—" Jungkook answered calmly and his voice is so low that him and Taehyung can only hear. He seats on the chair then lowered his head. Taehyung kneeled down so he can see his Jungkook's pretty face. "I talked back to her because I feel like — I need to tell her what I exactly feel... but she end up calling me ungrateful." Jungkook added.

"Baby. I know— I told you that once— back when I was a jerk." Taehyung muttered with a pause, cuz he knows he has a fault with it— even if he apologized he still feel bad back the . "But what happens and what you feel back then... I understand them now. You never experienced a requited love— that's why... but as soon as I know you more... and I learn more from you. I fell in love to you— and I really love you. I fell in love to you because I like you and I need you in my life... you didn't beg for it... you saved me from the unrequited loved that me falling in love to my best friend— and I—" Taehyung stopped he was thinking if he was able to save the younger from his parents... "and you saved me from the people whom never gives me the same love I gave to them." Jungkook was the one who continues— even if he was sobbing.

"I love you so much Jungkookie always and forever." Taehyung said and stood up he also made Jungkook stood up the he seats on the chair and made Jungkook seats on his lap. "There cry all you want I'll be here for you." Taehyung said.

And he made a note to himself that everyone who will make his baby cry and hurt his baby will suffer no blood relation is excluded with this.

Okay first of all thank you for the love and support to this book— I decided to slightly put some drama with the book— like becoz of a vlog that I watched 🤦🏻‍♀️ where the girl was single teenage mom and her whole family rejected her and the baby... so yeah that's why the update end up like this 😅🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ IM SORRYYY!
But the ending could not be actually really happy 🥲💀
