Unrequited Love

CH. 15

Jungkook went out their shared room at the middle of the night, Taehyung was still busy doing his work inside his study room.

"Why I crave with something that I didn't buy?" Jungkook asked to his self.

He looked at the wall clock, it's already 11:45 in the evening, he wants to ask the older if he can go out and buy some dried squids, but he knows Taehyung was busy.

Taehyung's phone was at the living room it was placed on the center table. There is a message from Jimin, he looked at it and he saw a 10 missed calls and 13 messages from Jimin.

So he went upstairs to give it to Taehyung, for unknown reason he kinda feel annoyed when Jimin was trying to call and message Taehyung. But, then he remember— who was he to feel it? He was nothing but that one night mistake— and he didn't notice that he was already crying, pregnancy hormones— he said to himself.

"Hello Jimin? Did you—" Taehyung's words were cut when he saw Jungkook's back was shaking— and he can hear small sobs.

"Shit Kook." Taehyung called Jungkook worriedly that he end up ending the call. To hug Jungkook to stop him from crying.

"I'm fine hyung, this is mood swings I guess." Jungkook said, "go call Jiminie hyung it must be important." Jungkook added.

"You crying is more important matter to me. Why the hell you are crying? What happened?" Taehyung asked.

"I — I want to eat dried squids— like right now. Also some banana milk, you even drink my strawberry milk inside the refrigerator." Jungkook said and started crying more with the realization that he was jealous at the same time having a weird midnight cravings.

"You whiney bunny!" Taehyung said and wiped Jungkook's tears then kissed it. "Do you want to come with me there is a near convenient store there, I used to go there whenever I want to eat in the middle of the night while studying." Taehyung said, Jungkook felt so excited hearing that he will go to a place where Taehyung used to go always like part of the older's childhood.

"Taehyung ah!" The old woman said and hugged Taehyung, Jungkook hides at his back. "Koo don't be shy, she is the ahjumma who own this convenient store. She loves dried squid that's why I know she have one." Taehyung said and grabbed Jungkook's hand. Jungkook shyly bowed his head and greeted her.

"Who is this cutie here huh?" The ahjumma asked.

"He is Jungkook my fiancé, and he is really cutie." Taehyung said agreeing to the ahjumma's words.

The ahjumma handed them some dried squids, Jungkook also bought some banana milk and he even asked the ahjumma if she can make a kimbap for him, the ahjumma chuckled how heavy eater Taehyung's fiancé is— but she was wondering where was Taehyung's best friend whom he loved so much, but never had a chance to confess.

"Can you eat all of that?" Taehyung asked as Jungkook put the food he bought. He looked at Taehyung pouting — "are you telling me that I'm a heavy eater because I bought too much food?" Jungkook asked and take a bite of his kimbap. Taehyung chuckled, "silly of course not. I just don't want you to have a stomach ache because it's already midnight." Taehyung answered and opened the banana milk for Jungkook and handed it to him.

"The two of us will share." Jungkook answered.

"Awee you're so sweet honey." Taehyung said and was about to bite on JK's kimbap but Jungkook removed Taehyung's hand. "Not you, me and our baby." Jungkook said smiling.

"Yah! At least lemme have some too ~" Taehyung said acting cute.

The ahjumma on the other hand somehow noticed that Taehyung look so happy with the bunny cute boy he was with now. At least he was with somebody else who will love him.
