While here these two were busy in getting interrogated, on the other hand there was a person fuming in anger secretly watching all the happenings inside the police station.
"How many times have I told you fools to be careful? Now if we get caught then everything will be ruined!" he sneered.
"Boss don't worry! They can't trace us as we are going to flee away from here. We will book four tickets to Delhi in a local train. We will leave today at night. The train will depart at 11 PM" the other replied with a shaky voice.
"Fool's head! They have those drugs and the pistol with them. It will be a major evidence and also our fingerprints" he shouted at the other three while they stepped back in fear.
"Boss please calm down, those were just some filthy drug samples which were meant to be shown to the party but now the deal is finalized so we don't need them. Here we have some bribed officers who will stop the further proceedings of this case." one of the three assured.
"Sounds perfect! Let's keep ourselves hidden for now" saying this a cruel smile crept on that unknown person's face.

After asking a few more questions, they were finally allowed to leave and they rushed to their homes. Mallika was ticked off due to those silly questions she had to answer while the fifteen year old lad was still trying to digest what had happened a few moments ago. He was still in a state of disbelief and was absorbed in his own thoughts when a sudden smack on his head brought him back to reality and that's when he realised that he was standing in front of his house.
Mallika's state was a bit different. Firstly she was too excited to meet the police officer but after the interrogation by Mr. Jain, it totally pissed her off. She still couldn't believe that they were suspecting them to be the criminals. She was continuously thinking about who the owners of those goods could possibly be but her deep thinking was interrupted by Sumedh's soft scream.
Mallika's POV
"Aaaahh! Dau leave it please. It's hurting!" Sumedh screamed while Dau was twisting his right ear. I broke out into peels of laughter seeing the scene in front of me but soon regretted doing so as dau held my ear too and twisted it.
"Dau please sorry! It's paining! Please leave our innocent ears" we both begged him to leave our ears and finally he did.
"Where were you both? It's been hours since you have gone out? What the hell were you both doing? Aai and I were so worried! I even checked the whole colony but you both were no where to be seen. Tell me the truth. What took you both so long?" Dau asked crossing his hands at his hard chest. I was about to say something but Sumedh held my hand and pressed it softly. I looked at him and he blinked as a signal for me to stop from revealing anything further.
"We were just roaming by the lake side and I was teaching her history. We were so engrossed in it that we didn't even know when the sunset and it became dark." Sumedh explained to Dau who first looked unconvinced and so we both tried to do one of our famous tricks which never fails to convince him. We both showed him our best puppy eyes to which our innocent Dau finally gave in.
