21.

I looked at Alex reaction to the person. He stated running back to me. I was dumbfounded of what was going on.

"Whats going on?"

Alex ran to me and grabbed my arms and yanked me to follow him as he ran like cheetah-speed passing me. My wrist started to hurt of his grip.

"Run! Don't stop!"

We ran for minutes. I really wanted to stop but I knew who ever was in the car might hurt me. The car drove up to us running. I heard gun shots. I wanted to roll up in a ball, but this wasn't the time for me to be stupid again. Alex was pushing me to run with him. We must have ran almost a mile. The breeze of the wind was cold. My cheeks were freezing. My hair blew in my face making it hard to see where I am running to. I heard three more rounds go off from the car.

Then Alex stopped right in front of me. I almost knocked him over.

"Why did you stop? Run!"

Alex was still holding my wrist, he ran to the right, jerking me with him. We ran into some trees. It scratched me up left and right. I stumbled a couple of times, but I was able to pick my self up. Alex must have been hit many times by trees slapping into him. We stopped about 50 ft into the dense trees.

"Clam, down. Stay quiet." He whispered. All I could see was Alex in front of me. He was holding me next him.

"What? Whats going on?"

"The person in the car was Jack. He wants you back, and he wont stop for anything."

"Oh my god."

We heard rustling coming closer to us. Jack had a flashlight. Alex pulled me closer, holding my tight to his body. Jack must have been 30 ft away from us. Alex pulled me down to sit. I didn't notice that we were leaning against a tree. We slid down and sat quietly. I tried to control my rapid breathing. I closed my eyes in hope that we will not get caught. Oh gosh, what would I do if I wasn't so afraid. I kept my eyes closed. I still hear the rusting getting closer, and closer. Alex was breathing harshly against my back which sent chills down my spine. I saw the light brighten up threw my eyelids. Oh my god. He found us.

Alex pushed me up, I opened up my eyes and started to run. I thought Alex was behind me. I looked back and saw Jack and Alex fighting. I screamed my head off. Please don't kill him. Jack knocked Alex down to his knees. Alex looked up at Jack. Jack hit Alex square in the neck. He fell back onto the tree laying lifeless. Please don't take him. Please let me see him forever. Don't take him. I watched from a distance. I ran back to Alex and Jack. Jack had a white t-shirt on and blue jeans. I ran up to Jack an jumped on top of him. I knocked him down. We rolled down a little hill. I hit rock on my back and bushes scraping my head. We reached the end. Luckily I was on top of Jack. I started to punch him left and right. He grabbed both of my hands.

"Jenna...How could you."

I looked into his eyes. He pushed me off on to the ground. He stood up. I was laying on the ground full of pain, I never felt so weak in my entire life. I could see him from the moon light that shined from above this little clearing. I started to shake uncontrollably. He stood above me looking at me pathetic that I went with Alex. He got closer to me. He picked me up and shook me in the air. I started to cry and scream.

"Please put me down." All my words were trembled with fear. My hair flew all over.

He shucked me around like a rag doll. He dropped my down to the ground. I tried to crawl back from him, but he would pick me up and through me back down. He did this about seven times.
