Chapter5- Free or so I think

Oh...my...gosh.

I did it! I really can escape! Oh cheese and crackers, were am I going to hide. I ran to a about 5 block from the Wall-mart, to a local coffee shop. I walked in out of breath. I had walked to the back of the shop.

"Hello, May I take your order? We have a special today of a full serving; samosas or spaghetti Bolognese?"

"Uh, no thanks, I'm just waiting for someone.'

"Okay mam', have a nice day."

Ha, I wish it was nice as she must have pictured in her innocent mind. Okay, I have no money. I'm starving, this is a problem...and I must look like a hideous monster from the Lord of The Rings. Great! This is a good way to get someone on your side.

I waited for an hour waiting at the coffee shop. I The waitress reminded me that it was closing in another hour. Were am I going to go when the close? I'm going to freeze out side, it at least be 20 degrees out side. I can't go to a shelter they will never take me in. I walked up to the front of the coffee shop and looked out the window of all the people passing by, in there tick winter coats. My breath steamed up the window, then the song Hold On started to play by Michael Buble. Ha, I felt like i was in a movie, and the setting was perfect.

I waited for another 30 minutes and the sun was setting.

"Mam' were closing now. Do you want me to call a taxi?"

I thought this over. Taxi? that's good, maybe the taxi driver will drive me home, its only just 300 miles away. I chuckled as the lady waited for my response.

"Uh, I don't have money to pay the taxi driver. So no thank you."

"Okay, Well have a good night."

I walked out the cold air filled my lungs. I walked down the street, I could see the ending of this small town just 10 blocks down, then it just magically ends into a thick dark forest. I wrapped my arms around my waist, and pulled my long hair in front of me. I breathed out and the steam came out, as I walked into it. I counldn't ignore this, why was this so distracting? I kept looking down. I guess I was scared to look up and to see those evil men. But when I did look up, I looked up at the skies, the big dark purple-bluish skies that cover this whole town, I guess it was a sign it was going to snow. I kept looking up, observing the skies. I was finally at peace, I did not know how long I was walking but the sun stetted over the high mountains.

I started to smile like a grinning chimp, because I realized this is not like the movies. I would have been dead my now, but maybe I should be dead. I kept smiling like nothing was wrong. I am just a stupid girl, I should be frantically running or at least find the police station. I didn't care anymore, I didn't care if I was captured again, I should care but the run-aways always get caught don't they? That's just the way it is. I am in my own movie, and I'm the star.

A loud shriek woke me up from my laid-back thoughts. I turned around. A big black truck did a sharp turn towards me, and I knew who it was. I turned around and kept walking, deep in my mind I was gonna' make a run for it, but nah there going to kill me anyway, were all going to die someday, why not my death be today? I am at peace, I love the scenery, I always hated my self anyway, no more worries, I could finally be in heaven with god, and I could haunt those evil men.

Then all of a sudden I realized I'm a insane person! I woke up from a dream of a thought. Darn how could I think this? I should be running right now... what the hell feet? Run!

I started to sprint away from the truck then, my heart started to beat like a hummingbirds heart. Oh dear gosh please don't let this be a heart attack. I started to run, and of course me being a Jennifer, I tripped. I tripped and I couldn't get up. My whole body was aching, my head was pounding. My hair was scatted all around, on the curb, and in the gutter with dirty water flowing into it. Crap, that hurt. I could hear the truck stop at a screech. I slightly cussed under my breath, I heard the truck door slam. I sat up, my world was spinning. I could see Todd looking down at me. He pushed me back down to the curb. and once again they put some weird medicine in my mouth. My vision began to get blurry. I tried talking but I slurred my words and I was choking on my saliva. I could hear perfectly. I heard the whole conversation of Todd and Daemon.

"Well, we got her." Todd said relived.

"Yeah, so are leaving tonight? with her?" Daemon said like the moron he was.

"Yes. Don't tell Master nothing about thins...Okay?"'

"Don't worry, we would never say anything bad, and plus Master would kill us if he found out about how his girl tried to escape."

"Okay, guys lets load her up, and lets go before anyone sees."

Then I blanked out...and who nows what there going to do to me for escaping.
