This chap isn't the best, but the next ones are definitely going to be picking up. 

I have a lot of plans, but I have to get to a certain point before I can execute them. 

Regardless, have fun with this one! I tried to mix some scary into the cute today!

Shoto and I were sitting on the living room floor with Mae, both Dashi and Miyo were already asleep, as per usual.

We were originally just playing with her and talking to her, but then she put her hands on Sho's shoulders and lifted herself up to stand.

So now we're trying to coerce her to take her first steps on her own in between us.

I was sitting criss-cross with my arms held out as Sho held her up by her waist across from me. He pointed to me and held her hand, "Go to Mama!" He encouraged.

I smiled brightly at her and made a waving motion with my hands to try and get her to walk over to me.

She was holding onto Shoto's fingers tightly, and she took a step forward. I couldn't stop smiling even if I wanted to.

She took another wobbly step, then let go of Shoto's fingers completely and stumbled over to me.

Sho and I both let out cheerful gasps at her leap of faith as I wrapped my arms around her tightly as she ran into them.

I looked at her as she giggled, "That was so good! Can you go back to Dada now?"

She seemed very proud with herself, and stood up without my help, taking small steps back over to Sho.

His face was full of pure glee as she wrapped her arms around his neck. "Good job!" He told her excitedly. I crawled over next to them and kissed Mae on her little forehead. She hummed and looked up at Sho and I grinning, "I lub youuu!" She exclaimed. We chuckled and Shoto kissed her cheek. "I love you more princess."

I don't know when or why Shoto started calling her 'princess', but the nickname stuck, and now that's all he calls her. I mean, she is our little princess after all.

I looked over at the clock and saw that it was well past her bedtime, "Shoto, do you know what all princesses need?" He looked at me amusingly, "What would that be, Love?"

I grinned, "Beauty sleep! And if this gorgeous girl doesn't get to bed now, I'm afraid she won't get any!" He chuckled and tickled Mae's sides, "Well we can't have that now can we?" She giggled, but wrapped her arms back around Sho obediently.

We stood up and Shoto left to go tuck her in as I turned off the lights in the kitchen and living room.

I changed into my pajamas as Sho walked back into the room after softly shutting their door.

"God I couldn't be happier!" He said exasperated, falling back onto the bed with a never-ending smile etched on his face.

I got on the bed and crawled next to him, pushing his hair out of his face and running my fingers through it soothingly as he hummed with contentment. A soft smile as I kissed his cheek, "Me either."

He wrapped his arm around my waist and leaned over me to shut the light off. I pulled our blankets up and got comfortable in his hold, resting my head on his shoulder and closing my eyes in peace.
