I'm sorry! It's been a minute... Chapters will be coming out more frequently now, I've just started back school, and I've been getting used to the homework and new classes. I'm pretty situated at this point, so it's back to writing!
Enjoy~
TW: Blood & Graphic Content (Gore including Guns)
T A D A S H I
A cold tingling rose up my back, this time sharper and more painful than before. It felt similar to the time Shoto was seriously injured by a giant villain.
A knot sat in my stomach at the thought, and I urgently set down my pencil, falling down to Earth.
I was extremely disoriented at first, seeing hundreds of people all screaming, crying, or tensed up inside a large room. Everyone was sitting on stretchers or beds, as if this was some ginormous hospital.
A million thoughts ran through my head, what's going on? Where's Y/n? What about the kids? Who's in trouble?
My eyes focused on one man holding a gun, pointing it directly at a glaring Mae. My heart leapt into my throat, what is she doing?!
____
Mae stared straight down the barrel of the gun. The man smirked and pulled back the nock, his index finger curled around the trigger and pulled.
Dashi reacted upon instinct, grabbing Mae's shoulder and yanking her behind him. He pushed his foot into the ground, activating his quirk, shooting a wall of concrete up in front of them.
The three were shocked, and felt a cold wind up next to them. And whether it was instinct or something whispering to them, they didn't know, "Run!"
The three turned immediately, sprinting towards one of the open walls in the side. Pillars of steel shot up from the ground, blocking them from the active shooters. Dashi was momentarily stunned as he ran, wondering who else was able to send up that amount of steel in the room.
It wasn't a Pro Hero, he'd memorized every Pro in the last three generations. None of the ones in the building possessed quirks like his.
He pushed the thoughts out of his head and focused on making it out of the door. They did so without too much trouble thanks to the mysterious quirk user.
But the three slammed to a halt as they exited the door, nearly falling onto tons of rubble. The villains began to flood out of the exits, tracking down the trio.
Miyo grabbed Dashi and Mae's hands, using his quirk to push his legs faster and faster as he led them through the wreckage.
Shots echoed in the distance, most bullets hitting the rubble in between the triplets and the chasing villains.
Miyo had been mapping the area in his head on the way to the rescue area, it was a trick he picked up in one of the books he read. He was glad he remembered the route as much as he did, as they soon lost the villains among all the wreckage.
The three were heaving, adrenaline still pumping in their veins even after they stopped running.
"I think we lost them", Dashi whispered while panting. Mae looked down, seeing a little area behind some fallen bricks, just big enough for them to fit into.
She bent down and squeezed through the gap, slipping into the rubble that would give them protection from any raining bullets.
Miyo bent down to follow her, when a man yelled, "Over here!" Panic flooded the boy's expressions and they scrambled to get into the tight space.
