~ Proposal ~

This is my favorite chapter. Ever.

I received a call from Bakugou that he requested my help with a villain fight. To make it sound more believable, a couple of the other guys asked if he needed some more backup. Bakugou responded, "If you can, I know IcyHot is closest!" 

 I kissed Y/n as she looked at me worriedly, I grabbed her hand and squeezed it, "I'll be fine, don't worry." She only nodded and pushed me towards the door, "If you need help, I'll be there in seconds!"

I waved at her and rushed to Bakugou's location. Once I got there, he smirked, "Well, did she believe it?" I nodded, "Too well, she almost came with me."

Bakugou shrugged, "Well she didn't, you got the ring?" I reached into my pocket and fished out the black velvet box. 

I handed it to him and he opened it, letting out a whistle. "Damn, my mom couldn't have picked a better one out. She'll love it." I only nodded and huffed out a breath, looking at the ground as he placed the ring in his pocket. 

"Nervous?" He chuckled. "How could I not be? I'm going to have a hard time going to sleep tonight, and I don't know how many times I'll be looking at the clock tomorrow." Bakugou stepped forward to pat my back as we began to walk, "You're going to be nervous no matter what, so there's not much I can say; but I know that no matter what is said, or how it happens, tomorrow will end with you two getting engaged. Which is a happy ending, so there's no reason to worry." 

His statement did relax my nerves a bit and I flashed a smile at him, "Thanks." We walked in silence for a few moments, and couldn't help but ask, "So when are you and Kirishima getting engaged?"

We both awoke to the bright sun shining through the windows. I sat up in bed and yawned, stretching my arms out in front of me. Despite my fears of lack of sleep, I actually managed to fall into slumber quite easily, and even slept in. 

Today already feels like a dream; sleeping in, and waking up to Y/n's adorable face and messy hair. I smiled as the morning light fell perfectly on her, and I couldn't help the dim blush that rose in my face at the sight of her bare legs catching the warm rays. Her loose shirt fell off her shoulder, and her shorts had ridden up to show off even more of her thick thighs, filled with strong muscles that flexed as she stretched. 

Her previous top bun fell in loose strands all around her head, resulting in more of a low knot resting on her back. She licked her lips and sighed, turning to look at me; her mouth forming a bright smile. 

I couldn't help but feel her magnetic pull as I wrapped my arms around her and tugged her closer, resting my chin on her head. She didn't say anything, just wrapped her arms around me, enjoying the comfort. 

We stayed like that for a while, not needing to get up and go to work. 

Eventually though, her stomach grumbled and we made our way to the kitchen. She opened up the fridge and pulled out some bacon, grabbing a pan and moving to cook it. 

I moved behind her, grabbing some eggs from the fridge, and walking over as she handed me a mug of coffee. I smiled at her gratefully, taking a sip and enjoying the taste. I set it down on the counter and reached above her to grab a bowl. 

Cracking the eggs and whisking, hearing a familiar popping as the bacon began to cook. I set a new pan next to hers and turned on the stove, adding some butter and waiting for the pan to heat up. 

I leaned against the stove and watched as she turned the bacon over, sticking out her tongue in concentration as she tried not to get splashed by the hot grease. I couldn't help but lean down and kiss her forehead, she smiled and leaned up and connected our lips. I heard my own pan sizzle as the butter melted and I lifted the pan up, letting the butter spread evenly.
