🖤 ~ Mother's Day ~

Final Exams are the week after next. Don't know if I'll be able to get the next chapter up in that time, but we'll see. Definitely a lot more chapters will be coming out once summer arrives.

"...eeeey!"

"...neeeeey!"

"Honey..."

I slowly blinked my eyes open to see Sho's face above me. The sun was shining through the windows and giving his white hair a yellowish glow, he smiled and pushed my hair out of my face.

"Good morning, babe. Happy Mother's Day." He said softly.

I smiled widely and he kissed my forehead, "The kids and I prepared a special breakfast for you." He said, I pushed up onto my elbows and grinned.

He kissed me softly and grabbed my hand, gently pulling me up and out of bed. I giggled and let him lead me to the kitchen.

I gasped dramatically at the wide array of breakfast foods, the kids laughed at my expression. "Happy Mother's Day!" They exclaimed in unison.

I kissed each of them on their little foreheads and looked at the food in amazement. "How did you manage to make all this without waking me up?!"

Sho chuckled and walked around the counter, grabbing plates and cups. "Magic."

There were eggs, omelets, breakfast soups, mixed rice, seaweed wrapped rolls of which the contents I did not know, pancakes and waffles topped with syrup, biscuits and rolls filled with melted butter, bacon and about a dozen different fruits; strawberries, grapes, bananas, watermelon, blueberries, avocados, dragon fruit and more.

Shoto placed a steaming cup of coffee in front of me, swirled with some creamer. I couldn't keep the smile off my face as the kids put heapings of food onto their plates; they almost looked like they hadn't eaten in weeks!

I chuckled as they shoved the food into their mouths, "You know the food doesn't have legs right! It's not going anywhere! Slow down before you choke." I said. Dashi grinned, "Yes Mama."

They slowed, if only a fraction, but at least they wouldn't choke to death.

Sho slid a delicious plate in front of me, full of all different kinds of food. I kissed his cheek as he sat next to me, digging in and enjoying the tasty food.

After we ate ourselves full and cleared the table, Mae ran in with a wrapped box in her hands.

I smiled at her as she handed it to me, "It's from the four of us. Daddy bought it, but we helped him pick it out!"

I picked up the box and unwrapped it. The wrapping paper was a beautiful deep purple, with flower designs made of glitter. The sunshine beaming through the kitchen window made the glitter sparkle and shine, reflecting disco-like patterns onto the walls and ceiling.

I pushed the paper to the side as a velvety black box sat in front of me. I gently lifted the lid to reveal a stunning necklace.

The silver chain was thin and long, it shimmered in the light, and had an almost holographic glow when reflecting the paper's glitter.
