Sorry for the late update! I was just struggling to finish writing the chapter; it seemed like nothing I wrote fit or matched the theme/story I was going for. But, we are adding a bit of mystery today hehe!

Kasai was devastated.

He was severely punished when he got home; grounded for months, plus the longest lecture ever from his parents. He is also now forced to receive special training to help control his quirk.

Bakugou was more furious with himself than with Kasai, and took full responsibility for his actions. However, this incident allowed Katsuki and Kirishima to realize how potentially dangerous Kasai truly is.

His quirk was passed down from his father, and the heroes know from experience how insanely powerful the quirk is. If Kasai turns to villainy, it could be fatal.

But all of this isn't what is making Kasai so depressed; it's the reaction from his only friends.

He wished he could take back everything the second that the fire ignited from his hands; now his bestest friend in the world is glaring at him instead of smiling. And he hates it.

Not only that, but poor Mae. He knows he scarred her, both physically and emotionally. He secretly had a small crush on her too; how could he not? She was easily one of the prettiest girls he's ever seen; not to mention her bubbliness, which is unbelievably attractive.

But now it's all gone. Every second of their friendships vanished just like that.

He just hopes that maybe one day he'll be able to express how sorry he is.

Mae had gone quiet.

Sitting in the hospital bed with Dashi and Miyo at her side helped her feel less miserable; but she seems to have lost her love for talking right now.

She wanted to leave the hospital. It's gray walls are boring, and the food is starting to annoy her.

Shoto and Y/n noticed her silence immediately, and Shoto above all was hurt the most. He hated seeing his baby girl like this, and he wishes to never see it again.

But even after everything that's happened, she is still determined to be a hero; and now more than ever. Which is not helping the father's worry.

Now that summer has finally arrived, the family could finally relax and maybe heal up some of these recent wounds.

They are chilling in the hospital room, Mae's watching the TV, Dashi is passed out in a chair, and Miyo is reading a book beside him.

Y/n was braiding Mae's hair, and Shoto was sitting on the end of the bed, looking at something on his phone.

After a few minutes of nothing but the sound of Miyo turning pages and the TV, Shoto sighed loudly.

"It's finally all booked!" He grinned, for the first time in a few days.

Y/n smiled back at him and tied off Mae's braid; Miyo looked up, curious.
"What's all booked?"

Y/n turned and smiled wider, "Dad and I have a surprise for you three!"

Dashi was still knocked out, so Miyo rolled up his magazine and smacked him on the head.

Mae giggled as Dashi fell to the floor in shock, Shoto was going to reprimand Miyo - but hearing Mae's laugh made him secede.

Dashi rubbed his head as he sat down in the chair, sending annoyed looks Miyo's way, "Mama and Dad have a surprise for us, Zombie."
