Apologies for the lack of update these past few weeks. I've got a 35 page essay due in a couple weeks and I've been s t r e s s e d to say the least. But here we are! The beginning of a new era. I hope you enjoy!

I ducked as a knife flew over my head and ricocheted off the concrete behind me.
Deku yelled and punched a villain in the face as I did my best to focus on my own fight.
My mind has been drifting off as of late, and it's proving to be a bit of a problem.
I still have no idea how All For One knew about Mae's ability, but it's set me on edge.
The recent events involving All For One have caused unwanted memories to arise. My dreams are filled with past horrors that I'd worked to forget, and the stress doesn't disappear when I wake up.
In fact, when I finally wake up from these nightmares I'm met with an even more terrifying reality; it's not just a dream.
And there's close to nothing I can do about it.
We've doubled up the patrol times and tripled the amount of people working at once, it's all hands on deck.
We had to figure out a precise schedule so there would be enough specialty heroes at the same time. For example, we couldn't have thirty heroes able to put out fires in the morning and only five at night. It would just breed more chaos and problems.
It's also becoming increasingly difficult for both Sho and I, as I'm running the agency while also taking calls, and he's on patrol for most of the day, it's causing a buildup of stress and pressure.
It's times like these you realize the weight put on heroes' shoulders. Not to mention all of the first responders and emergency care doctors are being pushed to their limits too.
There is a unique beauty of this chaos though, like a ginormous spider web with a black widow resting in the center. It's a magnificent thing to look at, scary no doubt. You wouldn't dare mess with it, but beautiful nonetheless.
All of the heroes, sidekicks, police, firefighters, paramedics, doctors and dispatchers work side by side seamlessly. It's similar to the Era of the Kings, with one key difference.
The fear.
The Kings were powerful and difficult opponents to face; but we faced them, and got rid of them in one go.
All For One was only stopped by the original Symbol of Peace himself. And almost at the cost of his life. Not to mention, the press has no idea of All For One's inclusion in the recent attacks, which leads them to blame the heroes entirely.
"Are we really protected?" "Who's going to save us when we need it?" "These villains are getting out of hand!" "Should the military get involved?"
They even grew the balls to call out a few agencies in particular. Thankfully, Dashi-Hero wasn't one of them. That is just what we need.
Us at the top are doing our best to keep hope, but it's becoming more of a challenge every hour.
"Deku behind you!" He spun around and held his arms up to block the long blade gripped in the tall villain's hands. Green sparks flew off of him as he knocked the blade to the side. I couldn't watch much more as a smaller throwing knife whizzed past my face.
I turned and saw another boisterous villain pulling his arm back to throw another blade, I sent my tracks straight into his torso, knocking the breath out of him as he fell to the ground.
