Sorry for the delay, but I'm back ya'll!

| TWELVE YEARS OLD |

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Mae jumped from platform to platform, effortlessly completing the drill Deku set for her. Deku was extremely impressed with the small girl's progress, a far cry from his excuse of "training" when he was her age. She learned quickly and adapted her technique expertly to reach the targets he set up for her.

Her body is still a long way away from receiving One For All, but he's sure she'll be more prepared than he was. At the moment, she's only working on workout drills and exercises to increase her stamina and strength, but to his surprise, she completed the original drills he came up with almost insultingly easy.

As she continued sprinting from mark to mark inside the giant gym hidden in the Fukuhara House, Deku glanced over at Shoto, who had been watching their training sessions with extreme scrutiny. It was no secret Shoto was entirely against this whole thing, and he made sure Deku knew that if anything happened to Mae, he would skewer him, best friends or not. Mae was aware of her dad's disapproval of her becoming a hero, but she really didn't care. Of course, she listened to his seemingly endless "words of wisdom," which were really just Shoto's final efforts to change her mind, but he couldn't fool her.

Y/n was quite supportive of Mae, despite also fearing for her safety. Y/n understood that nothing would change her stubborn daughter's mind, especially her parent's pestering, so she gave up fairly quickly. However, Mae wasn't the only one delivering surprises lately.

Deku and Uraraka recently shared their intentions of adding their own child into their household. Y/n was sure that meant Deku would change his mind in giving One For All to Mae, but he assured the excitable girl and mother he would stay true to his word.  Besides, he didn't want to assume his child wanted to follow in his footsteps.

The triplet's would be entering middle school in a few short weeks, and they three had very different opinions on it. Mae was as thrilled as usual to be moving to an even larger school, meaning even more people to talk to and teacher's to annoy with her chatter. Dashi was a bit nervous, he has yet to find a good friend group since Kasai and him had swiftly ended their friendship. Kasai was, unfortunately, Dashi's second half; losing him was a lot more painful than he had first realized, but one look at the scar still swept across Mae's cheek reminded him of the pure fury Kasai created that day. When they returned to school after the incident, Dashi and Miyo stuck together like glue.

They had both lost their best friends, and they both felt lost. Subsequently, Miyo was completely terrified of the daunting school he was expected to walk into in a few weeks. He had even begged Y/n and Shoto to homeschool him again, and while they had sympathy for the anxious boy, neither of them could leave work for so long.

Dashi Hero still stood tall and proud. No more villainous groups had succeeded in staying alive for more than a week, as the Pros were very quick to disperse criminal organizations as soon as their empty threats turned to real ones. Y/n and Shoto had gained a few scars in the process, but it saved more lives than they could truly know.

________

"I'm so excited! I heard middle schoolers don't have to walk to class in lines anymore!" Mae exclaimed to her two less-than-thrilled brothers. Miyo was picking at his fingers nervously; he didn't get much sleep last night because all he could think about was how scared he was to start school alone. Dashi was better off than his youngest sibling, but there was still an uncomfortable pit in his stomach at the thought of having to navigate the large school in between classes without getting lost. At least, he reminded himself, he would have homeroom first.
