"No because the most hilarious part of it all is the fact that Mark was so scared about 'accidentally inviting' us even though our base is literally a few seconds walk away. Legit like, look, through this door, yeah, that's the filing area to our base. It was inevitable that we were gonna come."
The dinner that they had all shared had ended and the olders were drinking. The olders being, Didi, Hwan, Haizhen, Renjun, Mark and Donghyuck. The youngers opted to playing on their phones: Meihua just listening to the conversations of the drinking olders.
Haizhen and Donghyuck seemed to be the only ones who weren't too terribly intoxicated. Which was difficult for them because it's not easy to have a conversation with a completely not sober person, but they had just fought with each other so it was just quite awkward.
"I'm sorry for getting angry, Haizhen, it's your plan and I totally understand that. I don't have the right to interfere just because Jinlei is my ex. I get that." The girl addressed nodded curtly before turning back to her alcohol, and Donghyuck could not at all tell if he was forgiven or not.
Meanwhile, sitting out on the balcony were the ones who were completely wasted. It was dangerous, yes, especially because of the way Hwan was leaning against the railings and Mark wanted to join too but probably was not able to realise that if he leant forward too much he would fall to imminent death. Luckily, Donghyuck came to drag him away.
"Get off me, you son of a bitch. Oh... Do you know, you never realise how much you love someone until you see submarines in their eyes and realise you're gonna die if you don't get in one of them?..." Mark droned on incoherently as he stared into Donghyuck's eyes, well if you could call his half closed scowl a stare.
"Renjun, renjun, renjun, renjun, show off your power." Renjun turned his head to look at Hwan who was begging for him to display his powers. He hated doing that. But he was drunk, how was he supposed to know what he hated?
"What should we make aliven?" Renjun squinted his eyes, looking for something. "Oh, look this dildo will work." Donghyuck choked a little when he saw what Didi was motioning to, it was not a dildo, but a wine bottle.
The youngest male couldn't fathom why she thought it was a dildo when she had just been drinking out of it, he guessed she really couldn't take alcohol at all.
It reminded him a little of- His thoughts were loudly interrupted when he saw the bottle dancing and twisting like a ballerina. He couldn't even question as more bottles started dancing, some of the girls joining to dance with them too.
Donghyuck began to feel generally sorry that all the legal aged members of Haizhen's group were terrible at taking alcohol.
Nobody noticed Renjun slip away from the dancing bottles.
"Mei~ Mei~ Mei~" Renjun poked the almost sleeping girl, waking her up immediately. She cooed at how cute he looked, his cheeks puffed and red and his eyes almost just as red. He looked tired and as if he would fall asleep right there but his energetic voice said otherwise.
"Mei, sunshine, I never told you my power, did I? I didn't lie when I said I didn't have one, I pwomise~ It just that erm it's not a neo power, you know? It's one of the og powers. I can read you dreams and desires and I'll bring them to life for you. Like a personal genie."
He danced in front of her, showing he was a genie emerging from a lamp, causing her to chuckle lightly. "Mei?"
His questioning tone made her head turn back towards him: she now realised how close he had come to her. The top of his lip was almost touching hers and her heart was beating in a way that it shouldn't: far too fast.
"I know what you want, I know what you're desire is. Can I give it to you?" As he spoke, his lips grew ever closer to hers. She wasn't sure if she wanted to say yes.
But she didn't even end up having to make that decision. Renjun placed a hand on her lap to support himself as he leant forward and pulled her into a kiss, another hand on her jaw to keep her close.
