Renjun's gasp from his sleep made Meihua almost drop both phones. Quickly, she shoved both of the phones into the drawer before turning to the boy who was panting and clutching his chest.
"Renjun, what ha?-" "Where the fuck is Mark?" Renjun's eyes were widened in fear as he stared dead straight at Meihua. "Where is he, Mei?" "I- I don't know," She coughed out, "He's been sleeping all day."
With that, the boy jumped up from where he was sleeping, and pushed towards the door of the room. He was mumbling curses to himself as he ran down the corridor, approaching the oldest boy's room. Meihua followed equally as scared, but more a confused type of fear.
"Renjun, what's going on?-" "Shit, shit, shit, SHIT!" Renjun knelt beside Mark, shaking his pale body. At that moment, Donghyuck came in also, wearing an apron.
The two younger ones tried asking questions yet again: but they got no answers at all. Renjun just stayed beside Mark's body, hands on his shoulders. Renjun's breathing was flat and steady, barely coming out after each inhale.
"Renjun, JUN! What the fuck is going on? Speak to us goddamn!" Donghyuck continued to shout in an attempt to get his attention, but Renjun's eyes stayed closed.
When the boy they were shouting at finally turned to look at them, they wished he hadn't. His eyes were teary and there was a rage in them, a rage that neither had ever seen before. So much anger that his pupils could've shown a deadly acidic red colour like that of a universal indicator had his eyes been colour changing.
"He... He was poisoned."
