Chapter 35

It's the same day and Colson and I are currently on the hunt to look for a person to marry us and we had no success. We only have one more call to make and hopefully, this is the one.

Five minutes later, we got off of the phone and we told them that we wanted to get married as soon as possible. They said that they have a minister for next week and we took it. We gave them the details of the wedding. We told them that we are having the wedding in our backyard and it is just going to be the two of us and they have respected our decisions. I am so glad that we found a minister because if we hadn't it would have been a complete disaster because we wouldn't know when we would be getting married. So, I'm happy that we found a minister.

We got off the phone and we were definitely a happy couple. I was so excited to get married next week. Since the wedding is next week, I'm just going to get a formal dress because I'm not going to get an actual wedding when no one is going to be at the wedding except for Colson, the minister, and I.

I decided that I can go to the mall at the end of the week to get the dress because I don't want to get the dress now and risk Colson seeing it because I want it to be a surprise for the wedding.

After we got off the phone, I got up and walked to the kitchen to make myself a little snack because I was getting a little bit hungry. I decided to make myself an egg sandwich, so I got out a pan, bowl, eggs, and bread. I cracked two eggs into the bowl and threw away the shells. I stirred the eggs together and then I put the pan on the stove to medium. I sprayed the pan with non-stick spray and then I dumped the eggs into the pan to let them cook. While the egg was cooking, I put two pieces of bread into the toaster. I went back over to the egg and flipped them. I let the egg cook a little bit longer than after they were done, I took the egg out of the pan and put the egg into one of the pieces of bread. I went over to the fridge and got the ketchup out. I squirt some ketchup onto the other piece of bread and then I put the other piece of bread on top of the egg to finish the sandwich. I put the ketchup away and then went back to sit at the table to eat the egg sandwich.

As I was eating, I was looking through social media. I have seen that Ashley is having the time of her life traveling around the world. Which literally wants me to throw up. I don't know if I mentioned this before but Ashley's parent literally gives her whatever she wants. It actually sucks because whenever I was still at school, she would always rub it in everyone's face.

Anyway, I went out of social media and finished my sandwich. I finished my sandwich and walked over to the sink and washed my plate. After I was done washing my plate, I put the plate in the dry rack.

A couple of hours later, it was 9:30 pm. I went upstairs to the bedroom and got a pair of underwear and some pajamas out. Along with my pajamas and underwear, I also got my towel out. I laid the pajamas and underwear onto the bed. I grabbed my towel and headed into the bathroom

When I went into the bathroom, Colson was in there. I stripped down and turned the water into warm. I felt Colson's hands on my waist and I could feel his breath on my ear. It sent shivers down my body.

"I hope that you aren't getting into the shower without me," Colson said sexually.

I shook my head no. I got out of Colson's grip and turned on the shower. When I turned around to face Colson, he was fully naked. I grabbed his hand and lead him into the shower. We both got out and dried off our bodies. After my body was fully dry, I wrapped my hair into the towel that I used to dry off my body. Colson and I walked out of the bathroom and walked into our room. I walked over to the bed and I took my underwear off the bed then put them on. After that, I put on my pajamas and then got into bed. I pulled the covers over my body. Colson came over to the bed and got in it.

When he got into bed, I put my body to his. Colson wrapped his arms around me and I put my head into his chest. As we were cuddling, I couldn't help but think about our child. what she or he is going to be like. Is he or she going to be like me or their dad? That is an interesting question to think about. This all seems so surreal to me because I went from this shy and quiet girl into this confident and fearless woman.

"What are you thinking about beautiful?" Colson asked.

I look up at him and saw that his eyes were closed.

"I was just thinking about how much I have changed in the past couple of months. It is just so crazy. Going from being a quiet girl that had a huge crush on you to become a woman that is going to marry the guy that she truly loves and escape from a scary man that never loved her. It is all just so crazy." I replied.

"As I said before, you deserve everything in the world. No matter what it is and how you get it." Colson said.

"I want the same for you." I replied.

"I know you do. I love you for that. When we do the wedding, I will promise you that I will love you for the rest of my life and I will protect you from anything and anyone. I will never let anyone hurt you." Colson seriously said.

"I will do the same. I'm never letting anyone steal you away from me." I said.

"We should get some sleep. Goodnight my love." Colson said.

"Goodnight Colson." I replied.

After that, we both drifted off to sleep in each other arms.
