Chapter 24

After we went to Walmart, we headed back home to pack for our trip tomorrow.

We made it back home and Cole parked the car. We got out and headed into the house. When we got into the house, I headed upstairs to pack Cole and I's things for the trip to California. I walked into the bedroom and put the suitcase and duffle bag on the bed. I unzipped the suitcase and walked over to the closet to pick out clothes for the week because we are planning to stay in California for a whole week so I picked out the outfits and put them into the suitcase. I zipped up the suitcase and walked into the bathroom to get our bathroom supplies as our body wash, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush/paste, and hairdryer. I got all those things and took them back into the bedroom and put them in the bag. I also put Cole and I's individual hairbrush in there.

After I did all that, I zip up the duffle bag and grabbed that and the suitcase and took it downstairs to the front door so when we are ready to leave, we could just grab them both and put them in the back seat of the car. After I did that, I walked into the kitchen where Cole is making dinner.

"What are you making for dinner, baby?" I asked.

"I'm going to make chicken katsu with ginger rice."

"Oh. That sounds good."

"Yeah?" He asked smiling.

"Yeah."

I walked over to him and wrapped my arms around his torso. I kissed his shoulder and laid my chin on his shoulder.

"I love you so much," I said.

"I love you too."

After that, I let go of Cole and let him work on dinner in peace. I walked out of the kitchen and headed upstairs to the bedroom. I hopped onto the bed and got one of the "Twilight" books that I am reading and started to read it until dinner was ready.

Five minutes later after reading the book, I heard a knock at the door so I put the bookmark onto the page that I was on and ran out of the room and down the stairs.

"I got it," I said.

I opened the door and I stood there shocked and hoped that it was a nightmare that I could just wake up from. But this was the reality.

"Hey, Sabrina," Ryan said in that deep creepy voice of his.

"What do you want Ryan?" I asked frightened.

"Oh. I just wanted to stop by and say hello and see how you are doing."

"Oh, I am doing well without you, and since you said 'hi'. You can leave now and don't come back or I am calling the police and get you for harassment and then you can go back to prison where you belong." I said with courage.

Ryan laughed and that made me more afraid of him.

"Your funny if you think that I will let you go that easy."

"Can I help you with something?" Cole said behind me.

'Oh no,' I thought.

"Oh, you must be Sabrina's new boy toy. I'm Ryan. Sabrina's boyfriend. So, if you don't mind by letting her come with me, we won't stand in your way."

"She isn't going anywhere with you. She told me what you have done to her and if you leave one hand on her, I swear to god, you are a dead man." Cole said pissed.

"Also, you are not my boyfriend and you never will be," I said.

I pulled out my phone and dialed 911.

"Hello. What is your emergency?"

"Hi, I have a man here standing in my boyfriend and I's doorway harassing us."

"Okay, I got your location and a policeman is on his way now."

"Okay. Thank you so much."

"Your welcome. Be safe."

"I will. Bye."

"Bye."

I hung up and when I turned around Cole knocked Ryan out and took him to the closet that was in the living room. Cole shoved him in there and closed and locked the door until the police get here. While we were waiting for the police, Cole finished up making dinner and it was so delicious. After that, Cole washed the dishes.

Ten minutes later, the police arrived and took Ryan back to prison where he belongs. I am so thankful that I don't have to see Ryan again. Right now it was about eight at night and Cole and I were both getting tired and we had to get up in the morning to catch our seven o'clock flight. We headed upstairs to the bedroom and put on our pajamas.

After that, we both immediately got into bed and I cuddled into Cole. He wrapped his arms around me.

" I can't believe Ryan just showed up like that. I thought that I would never see him again." I said almost about to cry.

"Hey don't cry, baby girl. I would never let that asshole take you away from me. I would never let him touch you as he did." Cole said in a serious tone.

" I know. I am so glad to have you in my life."

"I feel the same way, baby."

"I love you."

"I love you too."

After that, we both fell into a deep sleep.
