I'm like the water when your ship rolled in that nightRough on the surface but you cut through like a knifeAnd if it was an open-shut caseI never would've known from that look on your faceLost in your current like a priceless wine

SKIN AND BONE, LIFELESS RED EYES that faded copper when the light touched them. Grass, forests, nymphs. All so boring. Lost in the blue skies, she was off to the next thing.

Cas looked more like her mother, with chestnut hair and light brown eyes in her better form, a curvier structure, pale skin. If only she had golden blood like her mother and wasn't stuck with the ebony ichor that rested in her father's veins.

Some called her crazy, restless, which were all correct statements. she had to make bi-yearly visits home, and as wretched as her father was this visit was worse than any other, to be completely frank.

The wind whipped her hair as she dug through her bag to find something, anything that she could do to become less restless, to see more things. The universe was large and vast, expanses reaching past anything mere people could fathom.

she was far from "mere people".

She was the goddess of the stars. She was destined to see them all.

Cascadia was crossing borders. Borders she was warned off of, but that only made the longing worse, shrouded with the hatred of her father.

Dark mist-shrouded her, and there she stood, in New York City, before a yellow-clad woman who smiled at her.

"Hello, Cas," The ancient one spoke, a soft smile on her face, looking at the girl. "what brings you here again?"

"I wish to travel to Asgard," she says, hearing the Ancient One tsk with a smile as she led the hooded traveler inside.

"Always restless, just like your mother was."

"Let's not speak of her hmm?" Cas asked, earning a look from the woman.

Cas had always been afraid of only two people. Her aunt, and the Ancient One. Bothe skilled in magic, mysterious and beautiful, Cas had every reason to be.

"Do you have an alias?" The Ancient One asked, earning a nod from Cas.

"Cascadia Finndotir, " she said with a smirk as she took the tea from her host with a nod and a smile.

"Ah, they'll believe it," she says, sitting across from Cas in a yellow armchair. "Make sure to—"

"I won't be marrying anyone Yao, I won't be there long enough," Cas stated, shaking her head with a sigh. "My purpose is somewhere out there and it most likely won't be among the Norse gods."

"You never know," The ancient one tsked, shaking her head at her. "you could find something." She paused, taking a long drink of the tea before her, before continuing. "Or someone"

"Shush Yao, nobody would want a girl with blood like mine," she says with a hint of hiss in her voice, knowing that it was true.

She did. She thought as such until she reached Asgard, running plainly and clearly into the god of lies himself.

Not realizing that he would eventually do just that.
