One month had passed, this was the day that the palaeontologists were going to be taken to the park.
Back at South Dakota, Tommy had a bag packed with clothes and an old phone, for calling his brother, laying under his chair. He watched over the dig site, and then
Then a helicopter was heard in the distance, and landed on a flat piece of red sand not far away from where Tommy sat.
He smiled while staring at the helicopter. "Welp, I guess I'm going now." He chuckled. "JIMMY!" He shouted
Jimmy walked up to Tommy "You sit at my chair now, until I'm back, I'm not going to be gone for long so have fun while it lasts!"
The pilot from the helicopter walked up to Tommy. "You ready to go?" He asked
"Mhm, just getting my bag." Tommy grabbed his bag from under his chair and wrapped it round his back.
"Well come on, Tony's waiting!"
Tommy and the pilot walked into the distance and got into the helicopter.
"So what other dinosaurs do you have here?" Tommy asked
"You'll just have to find out!"
"How long will this trip take?"
"You'll just have to find out!"
"Is that all you say?"
"....you'll just have to find out!"
Back in California.
Gregory had taken Danny to his sister's house. "I shouldn't be gone for long, don't miss me too much."
Gregory waved bye to Danny, got into his car and drove to where the helicopter was said to land. There he found the helicopter there.
"Finally! I've been waiting for an hour! Did you ignore the calls?" The pilot asked
"Whoops, had my ringer off." Gregory chuckled and got into the vehicle. "I can't believe I got a helicopter for myself to a dinosaur park, I guess I am special."
"What dinosaurs do you know about the most?" The pilot asked.
"Theropods, mainly the allosaurus, they've told me that they've got one at the park so I can't wait to see it!"
"Well you're not too far off from seeing one, tomorrow you'll see one with your very own eyes!"
The helicopter took off and Gregory was off to the island.
In Canada Finley was still skeptical about the park, but to his surprise, he got a phone call.
"This is Oliver with prehistoric park again. We've got a helicopter for you, you know, it's just a few miles east where the plains are."
"Well, should I drive my car there? I can't leave it in the middle of nowhere!"
"Well you can keep your car if you want to miss the opportunity of a lifetime."
"Am I being teased? Oh well I'm very curious so I'll go see if there's something there."
Finley drove to the plains and, to his surprise, there was actually a helicopter waiting there for him.
"Well I was pretty skeptical, but I guess I was wrong to be eh?"
"What's your name?" The pilot asked
"Finley Latimer, are you here to take me to a dinosaur park?"
"Yep, get in."
Finley got into the helicopter and off to the dinosaur park it was.
Finally, Jodie was waiting in a field for her helicopter, as there wasn't anywhere else for it to land.
The helicopter came out of the sky and took Jodie in.
"Hey Jodie!" It was T.J
"Hey!" Jodie got into the helicopter.
The pilot was getting the helicopter back into the air.
"So Jodie, what's your favourite dinosaur?" T.J asked.
"I don't really have a favourite, but I do have a fascination with protoceratops."
"You're in luck! Just, let us know if they're accurate or not."
"You've said that to everyone you've called at least five times!" The pilot said
"Well I need them to tell us! I want this park to be as good as ever!"
The island had its own airport, with 4 helipads for 4 helicopters and a runway for one plane.
Gregory's helicopter landed first, despite him being an hour late.
The other 3 helicopters followed a few hours later.
The island was hot and sunny, filled with tropical plants and trees all around.
Gregory was told to wait for the others, and when more people landed they were told to wait as well.
Once everyone was there they all met up for the first time and introduced themselves to each other.
Gregory felt something on his leg. "What the- DODO?"
"Heh heh, we have them free roaming around the park." One Pilot explained, petting the dodo. He passed Gregory some bird feed. "Go on, feed it."
"I think I'll save it for the other dodos, a little shocked right now." Gregory replied, squatting down to get a closer look at the dodo, scratching its neck. "He likes that, ha."
"I can't believe this is real." Finley had his hands on his head
"I don't think any of us do kid." Tommy responded.
Jodie got out her phone and started taking photos of the dodo. "Truly incredible! I can't wait to see what else this park has in store for us!"
"Well us pilots have to get going now, we'll be back in a few days to get you guys back home." The pilots flew back into the sky on the helicopters.
"I'll take your luggage!" It was Jordan and another worker, they took the luggage. "We'll take this to the hotel, so if you want to get your stuff just go over there!"
"Come on, I'll take you to Tony." T.J directed the 4 out of the airport and into the entrance of the park, where Tony was waiting.
"Well hello everyone!" Tony exclaimed enthusiastically. "It's been quite a long wait to meet the Dinos but I can promise you that this is going worth the wait and going to be the best experience of your life! Come along now! I'll take you all into the park!"
Tony took everyone into the entrance of the park, the adventure of a lifetime was about to begin.
