Chapter 34

Sa paglalakad ko pabalik ng villa ay nakasalubong ko si Gian.

He furrowed his brows. "I thought you'd celebrate your birthday with Ramsis? What happened?"

"Huwag kang mag-alala, matutuloy pa rin."

"Bakit? Ano bang nangyari?"

I shrugged. "Susuyuin ko na lang," ngiti ko. My brother looked stunned and disgusted.

"I'm out, enjoy your birthday you two," aniya at naglakad na palayo.

I chuckled and muttered a thank you. Lumiko ako para puntahan si Ramsis sa sariling villa. I smirked when I saw him quietly gazing at nothingness. He rested his body on the hammock. Nang makita ang paglapit ko ay tinaas niya ang kanyang kilay para sungitan ako.

"Why are you here?" pagsusungit niya pa. I went near him. His brow lifted more.

"Love, stop sulking," nakita ko ang panlalaki ng mga mata ni Ramsis sa sinabi ko. He almost fell from the hammock.

"Hey! Careful!" I said playfully. I want to laugh at his stupefied face. Dumagdag pa ang magulo niyang buhok kaya bumagay talaga sa kanya ang ekspresyon.

"W-What did you call me?" his beautifully curled lashes fluttered.

I raised my brow. "Love. Don't you like it?" nguso ko, nangingiti.

He gasped sharply and shook his head. Pansamantala siyang tumayo sa duyan para isama ako sa pag-upo. I sat on his lap. He delicately brushed my hair and parted it to kiss my nape. "No... I fucking love it, Clair Emrie," he whispered in his most whipped and weak voice.

"Are we good now, though?"

I shrieked as he pinched my thigh. May hatid na kiliti pa 'yon ngunit 'di naman ako nakatakas sa gulat.

"Ram!" I screamed.

"Ginamit mo ang kahinaan ko. Ang unfair naman," tunog dehado niyang wika.

I smiled. I angled my body and captured his cheeks. They were compressed because of my hold. Ang labi ni Ramsis ay ngumuso, as if he wanted to be kissed.

"Sorry, love. Life's unfair," biro ko.

"It wouldn't be unfair anymore if you'd kiss me right now," he wiggled his brows.

I sneered. Kahit iba ang boses dahil sa pag-ipit ko sa pisngi niya ay naintindihan ko pa rin ang nais niyang sabihin.

Maybe it's a couple's telepathy.

We stayed on the hammock for a while. Hinintay naming lubusang lumubog ang araw. Inaya niya na lamang akong tumayo nang sumapit na ang oras na pinakahihintay naming dalawa.

Girls may find our date setup as plain and boring. We opted to have a simple celebration at his villa's balcony. Ramsis himself decorated the area. Ang mga pagkain naman ay galing sa resort pero alam kong personal na pinili ni Ramsis ang mga kakainin namin.

It feels romantic because of the scented candles. The round table was fancily dressed with a lacey table mantel. Pinukol ko ang aking tingin sa flower vase. I could feel my eyes filled with adoration.

I love the flower arrangement! Ang bunny tails, fresh lavender stems, at cotton flowers ay gustong-gusto ko.

My lips stretched for a grateful smile when I found Ramsis' line of vision.

"This is perfect, Ram. Thank you."

He smiled and caressed my cheek. "This is just simple but yeah, anything for you..."
