Overworked Pt.3

Jennie's POV

I woke up by the annoying sound of my alarm and I just rolled over for a moment In frustration. I slammed my hand down on it to turn it off and heard a small cute groan. I almost turned around when I felt a small pair of arms wrap around my stomach and a body pulled close to me.

I felt Lisa's body heat behind me, yet intensified due to her high fever. I slowly turned over to face her and stroked the hair out of her pale face. Her fever was down a little more and I smiled at the thought. My baby was getting better slowly. I placed a gentle kiss on her forehead and brushed my hand over her cheek.

Her eyes fluttered open slowly only to moan in pain from the sunlight in her face. I panicked and moved my body to shield her eyes a little and pulled the blanket up a little more over her body.

She clung her arms around me and I decided to pick her up. I held her up in my arms and carried her to the bathroom while she hid her face in my neck. I placed her on the sink and ran her brush through her tussled hair gently. Then helped her brush her teeth and change into a clean shirt and shorts. Unfortunately, she decided to steal my favorite shirt but the fact that made it up because she looked so cute and small in it. It reached down a few inches above her knees but I was only glad that she was comfy.

I asked her if she wanted to walk herself out to the kitchen to eat but she didn't say anything and just made grabby hands at me. *chuckle* she's too cute even tho she's sick. I wish she wouldn't work herself in the company so much but she won't listen when we tell her to slow down. *sigh*

I picked her up and started to walk to the stairs when she started to whine. She's such a big baby *giggled* I started to gently bounce her in my arms and she put her face in my shoulder and stopped whining. What can I say, I know this big baby well. I walked slowly down the stairs still bouncing Lisa gently until I got to the kitchen.

"Hey Jisoo unnie" Jisoo unnie looked over at me and smiled brightly. "Hey Jendeuk. She feeling better?" I nodded lightly and put Lisa down on a chair. Which she immediately started to whine because of. I shook my head at her and she was quiet again. I rubbed her cheek and went to help Jisoo unnie cook breakfast. She cooked some eggs and I fried the bacon.

Fast Forward. When food is done

"I SMELL FOOOOOODDDDDD!!!!!!" That's all we heard right now aside from Lisa starting to cry. I bolted to the table where Chaeyoung was running in and Lisa was covering her ears. I smacked Chae across the head and Jisoo scolded her while I went and hugged Lisa. I kissed her head and rubbed her back gently whispering into her ears that it's ok.

"N-nini~*sniff* my h-head h-h-hurts" I sighed because I knew it was Chaeyoung shouting that made her head hurt. I just wrapped her arms around my neck and her legs automatically cling around my waist for me to pick her up. I gently bounced her in my arms to comfort her and brought her into the kitchen setting her on the counter.

I put a little bacon and scrambled eggs on a small plate and fed it to her. After she finished that I fed her a little bit of soup that I made her a little bit before I started helping Jisoo unnie. Once I made sure she finished all her food I gave her some medicine and carried her over out to the couch to relax. Jisoo and Chae came out and sat next to us a little later and told Lisa to pick the movie we watched. I guessed it before she said it and she picked Zootopia.

About halfway into the movie, there was a pounding on our door that caused all of us to flinch a little except Jisoo unnie obviously. Lisa jumped into my lap and I carried her going to answer the door. I opened to door with one hand. The other under Lisa's thighs to hold her up.

I don't know who I expected at the door but it definitely wasn't 3 very angry managers... "why aren't you 4 at the company working right now!" Manager oppa practically yelled in my face. I felt Lisa jump and hide on my chest. I really didn't feel like dealing with them right now but they didn't give me a chance to speak.
