Overworked Part 4 (End)

Time Skipped 3 days later

Jennie's POV

After 3 days of Lisa complaining about the hospital and having to be there, we're finally on our way home.  After packing up all of our things we headed out to the car. Lisa's knee was still healing up but any other injury she had had was all healed. Jisoo-nie and Rosie are carrying our things while I'm helping Lisa into the van. Once she was settled in I helped the girls with the bags and got into the car. I sat next to Lisa in the back while Unnie and Chae sat in the front. Lisa curled up to my side and hugged me so I turned my head to give her a little kiss on her temple.

I hugged her side and rubbed her waist and the side of her tummy comfortingly. Soon enough she fell asleep on me and I looked up at Unnie and Chaeyoung. I guess they didn't notice my staring because they just kept flirting *roll my eyes* these two really aren't low-key at ALL. It's SO obvious they're into each other but I guess ill have to trust it'll work out on its own. Because i have to focus on taking care of this baby on my side *smiles*. I gave Lisa another kiss on her head before settling my head on hers gently and closed my eyes. It's been a long 3 days.

Lisa had been waking up in the middle of the night with nightmares and would cry for hours on end until she fell back asleep. I nor Jisoo or Rosie have gotten much sleep but Lisa seems to have gotten the least. Poor Lili's been so tired so I hope she'll actually sleep through her naps at home now. I stop my mind from racing and finally let sleep take over me. My exhaustion finally catching up and slipping me into a dream state for the rest of the car ride.

I was woken from my sleep when I felt the car stop and heard Lisa whine beside me. I lifted my head and groggily opened my eyes to find my baby Lili complaining about wanting to sleep again. Her adorableness shot me awake and I gently patted her head and kissed her temples.

"Jisoo-nie can you and Chaeng take the bags inside while I help Lili?" Jisoo unnie nodded and helped Chae out of the car with our managers. they've been a lot more mellow ever since Jisoo-nie blew up at them so she must have said something to keep them quiet. "Nini unnie my head and tummy hurt again"  Lisa started to whine again but I didn't mind, all I did was kiss her head. "it's okay Lili well be inside and you can take a nap for a bit before dinner so your fever goes away completely." 

Yeah, Lisa's fever has gone down a lot in the past few days and she's pretty much completely better now. Her doctor told me she would just be experiencing some pain for the next couple of days. Effects of the medicine they gave us for her. We walked inside and the girls went to put things away while I helped Lisa limp to her room. I was about to open her door when she started whining and clinging onto my neck pushing her face into my chest.

She didn't sound like she was letting go any time soon so I just slowly put my hands under her thighs and lifted her. She wrapped her legs around my waist as if it was second nature. I brought her back to my room a few doors down and placed her gently on my bed. She curled up but didn't let go until I layed down next to her, and when I did she clung to my waist and put her head in my chest.

I smiled at her even if she didn't see it and I petted her hair softly to get her to fall asleep and rest. "U-unnie keep doing that* was all I heard from her little baby voice "dont worry baby I won't stop, but when you wake up from your nap I need you to tell me what happened 3 days ago before we went to the doctors ok?" all she did was whine and mutter an okay before I started to rub her head and back again, occasionally massaging her scalp and back. She let out a few quiet cute little moans and sighs before I heard nothing else aside from her steady breaths.

I kissed her hair again before slowly removing myself from her. I know not to leave the room when she's napping and I knew before the incident as well but I had and have some things to do downstairs. My baby will always be more important than my tasks but i need to go help unnie and Rosie so i tucked pillows around her and covered her thoroughly before kissing her head and writing a small note in case she wakes up on her own and set it right next to her on my side of the bed. Because I knew that would be the first place she looked when she realized I wasn't next to her.
