What would unfold if someone got hold of Nell and Eric's post-it notes long after they were written.

It was late around half seven, Kensi and Deeks were doing some repairs to the table in the armoury.

"Deeks do you have any bolt cutters" Kensi yelled over the sound of the drill that Deeks was holding.

"No, but Nell and Eric probably have some check their draw, it's over there the one next to Hetty's" Kensi put down the industrial scissors and kneeled on the floor pulling open the draw.

She marvelled at how ridiculously organised it was. A place for everything and everything in its place. She found the bolt cutters easy, it was what was under them that sparked her interest.

Two almost identical post-it notes one on top on the other with a small sentence on them.

"Hey Deeks, come and look at this" Kensi called.

"What is it Kensilina I'm busy" Deeks said walking over to where aw was kneeling.

"Do you remember when that bomb went off at that marine charity day"

"Yeah sure"

"And at the end of the case we got those little post-it notes"

"Yeah, I thought it was from you"

"Now it seems it all started with the Wonder Twins" Kensi said holding up the two post-it notes.

"Okay, Color me intrigued what do they say then?" Deeks said reaching for them.

"Uh, uh" Kensi said putting them out of his reach. "if they put them in a draw away from us, then they don't want us to read it".

"Come on Sugarbear please?" Deeks begged putting in his best puppy eyes.

"Okay." Kensi said giving in. "They read 'To Eric, you are my best friend and I love you more and more every day'. Wow never knew that Nell was that mushy" Kensi said staring at the piece of paper her mouth in a comical 'O'.

"I'm reading Eric's one" Deeks said snatching it. "Listen to this. 'Rockstar, you are such a dork and I love you for it'." Deeks sniggered.

"These were written over 3 years ago, do you think they ever talked about" Kensi asked.

"Probably not, or they would be together by now" Deeks said pulling him and Kensi to their feet.

"Should we ask, them about it" Kensi said almost racing out of the armoury.

"It doesn't matter what I say, your going to do it anyway"

"Yep"

Kensi raced up to OPS, Deeks lagging behind a little, bit she didn't stop until she reached the sliding doors which opened with a swoosh!

"Nell.....Gasp....Eric......Gasp....we need to talk to you" Deeks weesed taking a long breath in as all Kensi could do was stand there.

"Sure guys what about" Nell said spinning round to face them.

"Look what we found in your drawer in the armoury" Kensi recited holding up the post-it notes with a triumphant smirk.

Nell eyes bulged, her face hinting a blush and Eric went crystal white, trying to look anywhere but at Nell, Kensi or Deeks.

"What about them" Nell asked nervously.

"We were just wondering what they were doing tucked away in a drawer" Kensi asked.

"Isn't that what you normally do with paper." Nell snipped back a glimmer of anger in her voice. " And why in THE HELL WERE YOU GOING THROUGH THE DRAWER ANYWAY" Nell shouted raising her voice to the maximum.

Kensi shrunk back. Not in the seven years she had known her, had Nell ever raised her voice. At least not to that level and she was scared. Scared of what was going to happen next.

"Nell calm down" Eric said diplomatically. Putting a comforting hand on Nell's arm. Who still had a face like thunder. " I'm sure they didn't purposely go looking for them, only we knew they existed. They didn't mean to invade our privacy. Right guys?"

Eric was very rarely the voice of reason. Kensi and Deeks just nodded their heads apologetically, not wanting to make Nell shout again. Trying the lighten the mood Deeks said "You got a set of lungs, Nellosaurus" he chuckled. Then noticed that she wasn't laughing, only glaring.

"OUT!!!" She yelled raising the tension in the room to breaking point. Kensi and Deeks heads still hung low walked solemnly.

Once they had gone. Nell burst out laughing. " Did you see their faces" Her smile was a hundred miles wide.

"I know Deeks looked like he was going to wet himself."

"You gotta admit though they kinda do have a right to know" Nell said sitting down on Eric's lap, intertwining their fingers.

"Maybe someday" Eric nodded.

I am completely stuck for ideas, so if you lot have any just bung them in the comments that would be much appreciated.
