• Chapter 03 • Mr. Ajeeb
As Abir was running in the direction where Mishti ran. He couldn't find any cue of her he thought that the person might have escaped. But he saw an earring on the road which was shinning in the moonlight. He picked it up and searched around for the person. He took few steps and saw a path way towards his right side.
What must be there he wondered.
Out of curiosity he walked through the path way. After few minutes of walking inside the bushes , he was awestruck by the view in front of him. There was one wooden bench , trees around were shinning due to fairy lights. A bunch of red heart shaped balloons was also tied on tree. A stream of clean water was flowing and moonlight was adding more beauty in that place.
He stood there all lost in the beauty before his gaze moved towards a small figure standing there. He could make out by the clothes that the person was wearing , was a girl. He took few steps towards her. As he couldn't see her face , he moved more closer towards her but a reflection fell on his eyes resulting him to close his eyes but he still kept walking. As he was few steps back from her he could hear her weeping sounds.
Mishti could feel someone's presence there and also a constant gaze on her but she wasn't interested to know the person whom she thought to be Neil or Naina who might have followed her as they always wanted to know about this place , her hide out where she can pass hours. As she heard footsteps sounds becoming louder and louder she stopped weeping and was about to turn to face the person whom she thought was either Naina or Neil.
" If — crying out makes you feel light , then you should cry. " After pause not getting any response he continued " It's normal to laugh when one is happy likewise it's normal if you cry when you are sad. And crying isn't bad thing , you know." He said.
Finding an unfamiliar voice she turned to take a clear picture of the person. She was shocked to see him again. The one whom she intentionally pushed while running with the bag full of money. As she wore her raincoat which protected her from head to toe and also she had covered her face so he failed to recognise her.
Coconut tree ! Her inner conscience screamed.
His reaction was almost same as he saw her. Her eyes which held pinch of water in it. Her hair all dancing on the tunes of the cold and slow breeze. Her tiny pink lips which were slightly parted. Seeing all this his heart started beating on uneven pace reason unknown to him.
He found himself lost in her with open mouth. Her reaction was somewhat same as his. He composed himself and manged to start conversation.
" I know I am handsome and hot that doesn't mean you'll keep staring me." he said only to receive an angry glare from her.
If he was some other random person and if looks could kill someone she would have killed him there and there with her angry glares but seeing him in some kind of pain unknown to her somewhere slightly ached her heart. And her expressions softened.
" Use your philosophy on ownshelf first , Mr — Ajeeb. " She said. Which confused him as he couldn't get her words.
As he was now fully distracted by her and knowing his birth truth was long back forgotten thing for him now.
"I am sorry?"
"I saw you walking back there in deep thought , has if you are the only one creature on this Earth loaded with all the burden —
" He looked at her with widened eyes.
" Due to which I had to push you intentionally. But thank god I am strong enough so that I was able to pull your heavyweighted body. You see." She ended showing him her muscles and a cheeky grin.
