• Chapter 15 • Someone is bitten by jealousy bug.

" Ajeeb Rajvansh. "

No response.

" Mr. Rajvansh. "

No response.

" Abir. "

No response.

" To be husband. " She poke his upper arm with her index finger. He looked at her for a second and then continued his work.

Still no response.

" Abirr... please talk to me. " She whined.

" I'll try my best to not to slip next time. But now talk to me. " She again poke his upper arm with her index finger , he froze for a second then continued to press the ice bag on her right ankle.

Your silence is killing me.

" It's all mom's mistake , she might have not massaged my legs properly then. Resulting me to trip each and everytime. " Hearing her he chuckled.

" Thank God atleast you reacted something. " She sighed in relief.

[ It's been three weeks that Mishti and Abir had agreed for their marriage. Both being workaholic used to just text eachother and wouldn't get proper time to spend with eachother. So Ragini had purposely made Abir and Mishti to shop their engagement rings so that they could atleast know eachother's likes and dislikes. And also they would get some time to spend with eachother.

As Abir reached near her house he dialled her number. But at last ring she answered it.

" I am waiting outside your house. " he spoke stopping the accelerating car.

" I'm coming. Just a minut—  " she stopped talking.

" Aahhh. " next second she screamed.

Hearing her scream he panicked. He jumped out of his car and rushed towards the main door of her house , only to find it locked. He impatiently kept pressing the bell making Mishti more irritate.

" Mishti , What happened ? Are you okay ? Mish , can you hear me ? " He spoke and started banging the door with his palm.

" Open the door damn it. " he hit his fist hard on it , frustratedly.

" Ajeeb Rajvansh breathe and window is open , jump in. " she yelled irritatedly.

As told , he found it open and jumped in. She somehow managed to stand on her feet. He saw her standing with the help of the railing of the staircase.

Seeing her standing infront of him he left the breathe he had been holding unknowingly. Second later , he pulled her in his embrace making her shock by his sudden actions.

" Abir , I am fine. " She slowly spoke in his ear as he was resting his chin on her right shoulder. Simultaneously she was rubbing his back with her tiny palm.

He pulled out and bend down a little placing his left arm behind her knees and right arm behind her neck. Next second she was in his arms. She grasped his right arm with her left hand and placed her other hand on his shoulder.

" Abir , put me down. " She said slowly.

He didn't say anything and quietly placed her on the couch. Then he looked around searching for something.

" What are you looking for ? "

" Ajeeb Rajvansh , I am talking to you. "

He walked towards the kitchen and saw some sticky notes on refrigerator. He quickly captured it in his phone's camera and then , removed some ice cubes from it. He walked out with a ice bag and started tending her wound. ]
