Those unsaid words

• Chapter 25 •

It was weekend , which turned out to be a holiday for both Mishti and Abir. And being the holiday both ended up sleeping on the couch while watching some documentry as per Mishti's liking much for Abir's disappointment which made him sleep first , laying his head on her lap and legs spread to the end of the couch while her fingers were in his hair and her head was resting on the upper end of the couch.

Ragini who alone had returned back for some of her NGO work seeks in the house very quietly and saw them. Though she'd planned of surprising both of them but ended up getting surprise and smiled widely watching her children. She did a gesture with her hands to shove away the evil eyes from her children's.

She then clicked a picture of them and shared with her husband captioning it ' see , I'm always right'. Then with a heavy heart she moved to wake them up because their positions were such that they would end up with body pain. Specially Mishti.

They both were so sleepy that they just opened half of their eyes and adjusted themselves before holding her hands and pulling her down making her sit in between of them as they spread themselves over the little space on the couch and legs at the ends of the couch. While sleeping both ended up hitting their heads against eachother.

" Ow ! Ajeeb Rajvansh. " Mishti whisper yelled as she slowly rubbed her affected spot of head.

" Angry Chorni. " Abir simultaneously mumbled mirroring her actions.

Ignoring him she quickly placed her head on Ragini's lap leaving Abir blinking at her move. Without saying anything he just poked his index finger on her head and then layed his head on Ragini's shoulder making her shake her head looking at those sleepy heads. After a second or so , both of them flipped their eyes open , shocked.

"Mom , how come you are here ?" Abir shoots his question after recovering from shock.

"When did you came ?" Mishti sat properly and added as soon as Abir finished his question rubbing her eyes to get rid of sleep.

"Why didn't you tell me that you are coming today ?" He quickly added next one turning towards Ragini completely.

"Yes , we would've come to pick you up." Mishti quickly added not giving a chance for Ragini to speak.

"Wait ! Abir did you forgot that Mom was supposed to come , today?" She turned towards Abir and asked narrowing her eyes at him because of his short term memory.

"No. She didn't inform me neither." He said defensively.

"Why Mom ? " She looked towards Ragini , frowning.

"Yeah? Why are you not saying anything ? Say something ?" Abir said impatiently and Mishti was about to open her mouth to say something further.

"Chup ! Ekdum chup !" Ragini exclaimed pressing her index fingers on both of their lips to shut their mouths.

"Done with your questionnaire ?" She bobbed her head sideways watching both of them. While both of them flash her sheepish smile , nodding positively as she removed her fingers.

"I wanted to surprise you both so I came without informing you two. " She said caressing both of their cheek. "Instead got the best view." She murmured to herself and flashed both of them a smile.

"I missed you so much." Mishti said and quickly wrapped her arms around her shoulders , side hugging her from right side.

"Me too." Abir quickly added and wrapped his arms around both of them from left side.

"Really ? I thought you didn't get time to do so. First you both being workaholic would never miss eachother , forget about me. Second , when you both are home , you don't stop fighting like kids." She said while they both pretend as if they haven't heard anything. And just tightened their holds on eachother.
