• Chapter 19 • Take this dear hubby.

" Mr. Husband , will you do the honour of telling me where are we going ? " Mishti flashed him best puppy eyes possible , holding his arm which was resting on the gear.

He looked at her hands encircled around his arm then at her face and again rolled his eyes , completely focusing them on the road , trying to suppress his smile.

" It's a surprise , Wifey ! " He spoke , annoying her more.

" That's what , you have been saying from the time I have been asking you. " She huffed and crossed her arms across her chest looking out of the window , while he just smiled.

Why can't he just tell me ?

She looked at him through the corner of her eyes , whose complete focus was on the road.

" I hate surprises , they just kill my peace. " She muttered loud enough for him to hear but he pretended as if he didn't heard her.

" Since , you aren't telling me. I --- I --- I'll jump off the car , right here. " She threatened him , holding the lock of the door.

For a second he stared her and then threw 'Are-you-serious ?' look on her. Rolling his eyes , he took hold of her right hand and placed it on the gear and kept his hand on hers , gripping it tight. She just stared him.

What was that , now ?

If two minutes back my inner peace was killed. Then , I don't know what to say what's going inside me , after his actions.

It's nearly been two weeks that they were left all by themselves as they had refused to go for honeymoon. And also because Ashish had to complete a project in their Australia branch which was pending for a month now. So Ragini and Ketki decided to join him as their absence can also give some time for the newly wedded couple.

Before leaving , Ragini had strictly informed all the workers to finish their work when Abir and Mishti are at work. While only Seema , one of their house helper will prepare food for two of them and leave early leaving the two alone so that at least they could spend evening time together.

Today , is Sunday , so Abir decided to take his wifey out so that she could relax herself from her workload and also he could relax himself with her. Since he was the one to make a plan , she was unaware where they were actually heading to and whenever she tried to ask him , he would say it's a surprise and make her quiet.

" We reached. " He announced , and turned his head to look at her who was just glaring him , for god knows how many minutes.

" Beach !? " She confusely spoke , examining her surrounding.

" Why are we here ? " She blurted out. He didn't say anything but just grabbed her wrist and dragged her along with him. She meekly followed him.

Why are we here ?

Is going to drown me or something ?

Stupid. Her inner conscience shook head.

Why would he do that to you ?

He would never hurt you.

" Just a minute. " Abir left her hand as they were almost near the water. And then , walked little ahead where a man was sitting on one of the jet there. And after few seconds they started conversing which Mishti couldn't hear but kept looking at them curiously.

" So , are you ready ? " He asked dubiously , covering the distance between them.

" Ready ? For what ? " She frowned. He rolled his eyes and threw 'Are-you-kidding-me ?' look. Decoding his look she seriously nodded negatively , being clueless.
