9 months have passed since the day Dazai met his lover. The memory of their first meeting was still fresh in his mind. Dazai has never been a deep sleep type of person but, instead, he was more of an insomniac. The thoughts of his Port Mafia days haunted him no matter what he did. Or so he thought. It was a peaceful calm Thursday morning for Dazai and, his dear lover who lay in his arms sound asleep; their bodies intertwined in a warm position. He sighed thinking to himself.

'I could get used to waking up this way every day of my short life..'

He gently played with Y/n hair. He slowly got bored so he slowly turned over to the bedside desk to grab his phone from his charger to see if Kunikida had yet to call him to get his "Sorry-waste of good bandages" out of bed and work. Upon seeing nothing he was glad. He soon felt you wake up. 

"Dazai?" I yawned.

He turned to her, finding it cute that she had yawned. 

"Yes, belladonna?"

"What time is it?"

"It's 6:56 love."

I yawned again before getting up and going to brush my teeth. 

Dazai stayed in bed turning off his phone and snuggling back under the covers to seek warmth for his ice-cold bandaged body. He turned over to see the bathroom door staring at it waiting for you to walk out. 

I walked out of the bathroom before turning my gaze to the lazy man in their bed.

"Come on Dazai get up. You're gonna be late for work, and Kunikida is gonna chew you out for it."

He whined in protest before rolling into a blanket roll and pouting, "Belladonna, how could you be sooo cruel to bring in Kunikida while I get my beauty sleep!~"

He faked a cry before rolling out of the blanket roll.

"You could wake me up with a magical kiss honey~ I'll get straight to work if you do! Pleasee?"

He whined before you chucked and walked over to Dazai to bent down and give him a forehead kiss.

"Better?"

He softly smiled at her, one of his rare genuine smiles that only Oda and you could ever see. 

I left the room to go make some breakfast for him, starting up the morning. 

Dazai sat up and stretched his long arms before getting up and going to brush his teeth and prepared himself for the day to come. After getting into his signature outfit, and getting his phone out, he went down into the kitchen to his lover cooking some pancakes. Dazai came up behind you before hugging you tight and nuzzling into your neck, giving you a light kisses on the neck.

"You're very good at cooking..am glad you cook for me belladonna...I would die without your cookingggg," he droned on, muffled by his face being in your neck. 

Y/n laughed before humming in response.

"Can you get me two plates, hon?"

He nodded before going to the top glass cabinets to grab two white plates. He putting them down near the stove. 

I put two stacked pancakes on the plate and added some maple syrup, then turned to him.

"Do you want anything else with your pancakes before work?"

Dazai put an index finger under his chin in a dramatic way.

"Hmm, some cyanide or kisses~"

I sighed before walking over to him and peppering his face with kisses pulling away to giggle at his cute grin; I loved these morning moments with him if I were lucky enough I would wake up before him and see his rare peaceful sleeping face.

"Is that better honey?"

He nodded before taking the plate and sitting down at the dinner table while you cleaned the kitchen tools and made yourself some tea/coffee. You added some sugar/milk into your coffee/tea. I pulled out a chair across from Dazai, admiring him as he looked so purely excited to eat what I had made him. The moment felt nice, only to be ruined by a loud phone call from inside his light tan coat pocket. He let out a groan of annoyance before picking up while eating.

"Kunikia! How are you? Did you miss me? I know am charming but please Kunikida i'm having breakfast!"

Moving the phone away from his ear he began, to hear scolding from the other end of the phone.

" My my Kunikida would you look at that I have to go try out my new suicide tactic!~"

He sang in a cheerful voice and pressed end call. He finished his breakfast and, slid his phone into his pocket. He walked over to the sink to put his plate in the sink. Turning around to see his belladonna giggle at his little phone call with Kunikida. He let out a teasing huff before walking up to her and pulling her into a kiss. Tasting the sweet tea/coffee he ended the kiss with a grin.

"Don't mope around without me honey"

Y/n sat there bashfully, even though they had been together for 9 months his kisses still left her on cloud 9 with butterflies in her stomach. She signed putting her face in her hands.

"God I love that man.."
