Laying in bed Ana rolls over to her side as she hears the doorbell ring. Her hazel eyes flutter over to the clock on the nightstand and it reads 2:45 a.m. Ana's eyebrows furrow and she looks over her shoulder at Adonis who was already up and sliding on his sweats. She watches as he grabs his pistol from the nightstand and places it in the hem of his boxers.

"Stay here, and stay quiet Anastassia." He speaks seriously.

Ana nods slowly and keeps her eyes on him as he opens their bedroom door and shuts it behind him.
Ana sits up in bed and looks around the dark bedroom trying her best to hear the conversation that was taking place down the long hall at the front door.

"Where is she Adonis? I know you have her or you've done something with her!" Eden speaks as she tries to look behind his tall frame.

Adonis pushes her back some feeling like she was getting to close to him and the entrance of his home.

"I told you, I haven't seen Ana since she left here months ago."

"You're lying!" Aaliyah shouts. "Do you think I don't know how you pay people in LA? Or you pay off the cops so you can get away with whatever the fuck you want?"

"Better watch what you saying right now cause you talking a whole lot." Adonis smirks.

"Or what? You gonna kill me like you did my sister?" Aaliyah ask stepping directly in front of him.

Feeling his trigger finger itching he reaches behind him and grips the gun hidden in his sweats. Aaliyah never lets her eyes leave his. She wasn't afraid of Adonis like most people in LA and Seattle. She was overprotective of her sister and wasn't going to give up this time around.

"I suggest, you back the fuck up get back into that truck you drove here in and go home. If you keep talking that shit to me neither of y'all will be going home tonight."

Eden grabs her daughters arm and pulls her back to where she was standing on the porch.

"Please, for once in your life be kind and let me know if my daughter is alive or not. That's all I want to know." Eden speaks softly.

For a moment Adonis was going to give her the confirmation she was asking of him. But he knew if she knew, everything he had planned for him, Ana and their son would fall apart.

"Like I said, I don't know where she is."

Eden's eyes fill with tears and she steps back.

"I hope they put you away for life once this trial is over." Aaliyah speaks as she consoles her mother.

"Fuck off my property."

Adonis waves them off and slams the front door in their face. He locks the door and cuts the alarm back on before letting out a deep breath. Them showing up here was not apart of his plans, he knew they would be back now that they knew where his home in the woods was.
To keep from having to murder Ana's sister and mother he was going to have to put his plan into motion sooner than he intended to.

"Everything alright?" Ana whispers as Adonis shuts and locks their bedroom door.

"Yeah." He responds dryly too consumed with his own thoughts to give her any sense of comfort right now.

"Are you sure? You look flustered." Ana speaks again.

She lifts herself up on her knees and crawls over to where he was sitting on the edge of the bed now smoking a cigarette. Her arms wrap around his waist and her head nuzzles into the side of his neck. She feels him relax a little as he continues to smoke.
