Zenny's P.O.V

Being in a new school is very stressful, especially when you have a bully to consider. But what was worse than Hailey, were Hugo and Lewis. Ever since that first day, they never left my side. What they wanted to know more than anything else was my real name.

I overheard them the other day whispering. Hugo asked in his German accent: "How is Zenny name?"

"What is Zenny's name." Heather corrected. "And I don't know."

"You know that is a good question, Zenny isn't a proper name, I wonder what her real name is," Lewis added.

I walked in on the conversation, saying: "It's a hard name to spell if you can't really speak Arabic, so it's easier to call me Zenny."

   "What is Zenny?" Questioned Hugo.

"Zenny is a nickname, it means someone who is calm, but also can be crazy. That's what I read." I answered.

"I think he wanted to ask for your real name, not the meaning of the nickname," Lewis stated.

I thought it was funny how curious they were, but I wasn't going to reveal it, especially since Hailey might hear it. The truth is that I am not just Lebanese, I am also American, so if Hailey sues me, she can, but she can't if she doesn't know my real name.

"All that I can tell you is that my name starts with a Z, that's all," I admitted.

"There are many names that start with Z." Lewis complained.

   "Yeah!" Hugo yelled.

"If you want to waste your time trying to find out it's your choice, but I have no interest in telling anyone. If you want to know, you'll either have to wait for the day I get married or the day I die, whichever one comes first." I replied.

And what I didn't expect was for those two boys to actually put in the effort to try and find out what my real name is. For many weeks they would come up with a new name and ask me if it was my name. The bright side was that the three of us got close because of this, so I really don't have the right to complain.

I honestly had no idea of how fun the school was though. Adira was so much fun, and everyone was so nice, except for Hailey. Luckily Aurora was like a second in command in the 'putting Hailey in her place' club, alongside Michelle. She would tell Hailey off for bullying other students then go and comfort the other students.
