❛ a life lived in love will never be dull ❜
"KNOCK, KNOCK BITCH." VALERIE CALLED AS SHE AND THE OTHER THREE GIRLS PUSHED OPEN ARIA'S BEDROOM DOOR. It had been a few days since Aria had even ventured out of her room, and the girls decided it was time to get her out of it. They grabbed some Chinese takeout and a pile of magazines in hopes to cheer up their friend.
Spencer rolled her eyes as she watched Valerie made herself comfortable on Aria's bed. "That only works if you actually knock."
"Speaking the knock is just as effective." Valerie shrugged earning a meek smile from Aria.
"What are you doing?" Aria groaned as she turned to face the remaining girls that gathered around her bed.
"An intervention." Spencer said, holding up two bags full of food. "We brought takeout."
"And rag mags." Emily added, placing a pile of magazines on Aria's bed.
"But you cannot have any of those until you get out of these sweats." Hanna said seriously, sitting down on Aria's bed tugging on the material that covered the Montgomery girl's leg.
Aria looked down at what she was wearing in confusion. "Why? What's wrong with these?"
"Nothing, except they're starting to graft to your skin." Valerie joked, pulling part her chopsticks to eat the noodles out of the box.
"Well, they're comfy." Aria pouted, stealing the box from Valerie's hand and eating it herself.
"So are mom jeans and platform flip-flops." Hanna muttered looking at Aria pointedly, as her personal view on the clothing options was that they were horrendous.
"Plus, how are we gonna help you choose a homecoming dress if you don't try some on for us?" Emily asked, reminding the girl of the dance and Valerie nodding in agreement.
"That's easy. I'm not going."
All four girls jaws dropped and each one was shocked at the words that has just come out of Aria's mouth. Hanna was the first regained the ability to speak, though her tone suggesting that it was the most scandalous thing she had heard. "What do you mean you're not going?"
"Wait what? Why?" Emily asked confusion clear in her voice.
"You can't just not go." Spencer voiced, as Aria just sat there a non-emotive expression on her face.
"If any of us get a pass on attending it would be me but see as I am going to be suffering through, so should you." Valerie joked, eating more of her own personal box of noodles. "What are you doing instead?"
