Assalamu alaykum and welcome to the final chapter of Finding Islam until 'Eid al Fitr.  If you are coming across this chapter after Ramadan has already begun, then please get off right now and don't waste your time here. Logout and come back to Wattpad after Ramadan has finished inshaaAllah.

Remember, this is the month that is mentioned in a hadith where the Prophet, peace be upon him, said:
Whoever fasts during Ramadan with faith and seeking his reward from Allah will have his past sins forgiven. Whoever prays during the nights in Ramadan with faith and seeking his reward from Allah will have his past sins forgiven.

Watch the video in the media section too if you haven't already inshaaAllah.

Akhawat, I first and foremost advise myself, and then humbly advise you: Do not waste this opportunity that Allah swt has blessed you with for verily there are many Muslims who did not live to see this blessed month.

There are many of us who may not live to see the end of this month so make every single day count.

Please do not waste time on Wattpad - and I request you to refrain from reading my stories inshaaAllah as I do not want to be held accountable for preventing anyone from spending their time in Ramadan purely for the sake of Allah swt.
If there was a way to lock my account for a month and then come back later on, j would have done so, but unfortunately I have no such option so I can only share my wish with all of you and that is that I do not want to see a single vote or comment in my notifications this month InshaaAllah, nor do I want anyone reading my story.

JazakumAllahu khayran.

- KING'S POV -

"Are you going to the masjid?" A'ishah asked me as I stood up off the couch slowly, disturbing her comfort. She had been leaning against me while we watched a documentary on marine life and the complications of exhorting fishing practices on Netflix.

"Yeah, I'm going to get ready and go." I said, walking around the couch and down into the hallway. After using the bathroom and having wudhu, I got changed into a black knee-length thawb with cuffed sweatpants before taking my wallet out of my work bag and leaving the bedroom only to run into A'ishah.

"I'm coming, too! Wait for me!" She said, pushing past me and rushing into the bedroom.

"Why?"

"Hanifa just texted me. She's going so she asked me and Samira to meet her there. We've barely spoken since she got married."

"Okay, well hurry up, yeah?"

"I will, I will." She said quickly but for some reason, unlike her usual self, she was taking forever and I was sure that it felt even longer than what it really was because I was ready and waiting by the door with my shoes on and everything. "Are you ready, A'ishah?!" I lifted my wrist to check my watch. This is what happens when you wait until the last minute to join me.

"I'm coming!" She yelled, huffing and puffing as she rushed out of the bedroom and towards me. "I can't believe you've made a pregnant woman run." She mumbled and I shook my head as I pulled open the cupboard and asked her which shoes she wanted. She considered the bedroom to the front door worthy of 'making a pregnant woman run', but I could not be bothered arguing with her about it. I knew better.

"The Vans, please." I took out the black and white pair and knelt to the floor, untying the shoelace and holding it out towards her foot. "JazakAllahu khayr, habibi." She spoke once she slipped on the second shoe and I had tied both sets of laces.
