Another trip to another family, they already had the Holly family to deal with and now the Moore's.
A man answered, his face was worn with age, but he somehow still looked young.'Hey there... May I help you?'
Both Baloc and Storm held up their badges, 'FBI Special Agents Robertson and this is my partner Agent Fernald', the man smiled at them for a few moments, 'your daughter is Sarah Moore?' The man nodded, 'yeah, I'm Sam Moore, I can go get my wife as well - come in side, we'll go into the living room'.
Storm could see the man's face grow pale, he knew something was wrong. The house was a lot different than the Molly's, the Moore's were rich. The walls were littered with pictures and he felt horrible when he saw that Sarah was in most of them, well of course! She's their daughter!
The moments Storm steps into the living room he came face to face with a young woman, around his age.'Rachel?'
She looked up at him and her eyes grew wide in shock, 'Storm!?' Both Baloc and Mr. Moore stopped in their tracks, 'you know each other?' Mr. Moore suddenly speaks and Rachel shifts on her feet and he could tell she was nervous.
'Uh... Yeah, we go way back'.
Storm tried not to roll his eyes, 'we use to date in high school', he said without any hesitation, and he could tell that Baloc was trying not to laugh, inappropriate, but still hilarious.
Mr. Moore shakes his head in disbelief, 'small world', he says before motioning for both Storm and Baloc to seat, 'Rachel just... Sit down', she chuckles at him, 'I'm fine, I don't need -'.'Mrs. Moore'.
Storm doesn't use her first name at this moment and that was enough to tell her to sit down and stay calm. Baloc rubbed his hands together and spoke and everything seemed to go silent. Storm couldn't hear anything, Baloc's voice was drowned out. All he was focused on was Rachel Moore's face when she heard about her daughter. Her eyes had grown wide and her face paled. Her husband fell back onto one of the armchairs, he too had gone pale.
It was only when Rachel had started screaming that Storm was brought back, 'no! Not Sarah!' Rachel screamed as she pulled at her hair. Instantly, Sam Moore was by her side, comforting her, though tears rolled down his cheeks, 'where was she?' His was shaking, but his face was set hard with anger.'The field near the shopping centre'.
Rachel hid her face in her palms, her body shook violently, she was a broken woman, anyone would be broken if they had found out their loved ones were killed.
'We're sorry for your loss'.
Storm says slowly and Sam Moore looks at him, 'thank you for telling us, I'm at least glad that she was found and her body can be put to rest', he wiped his eyes, 'you better get this fucker, or I will', he snarled, though it wasn't directed at Storm or Baloc. Both had not said anything, it was best not to make promises, to Baloc, it was treading on mighty thin ice.
The drive back was silent, both Baloc and Storm were still digesting the whole event, 'so... You and Mrs. Moore use to date in high school', it wasn't a question, it sounded more like Baloc was clarifying it, and Storm nodded, 'yeah... For about a year and then...'.
'It didn't work out'.
'Well... She cheated on me... So yeah it didn't work out'.
'Ouch'.
'Yeah... Ouch'.
Baloc smiled, 'well, it's all in the past, and I feel you have your eyes set somewhere else', Storm groaned, 'are we seriously going to go there again? First of all, she's way too young -'.
'Age doesn't matter, only if the younger person is underage though'.
'Also, she's your daughter!'
Baloc folded his arms and cocked his eyebrow at him, okayyyy that came out wrong, 'and what's wrong with that? What's wrong with her being my daughter?'
Fucking Geronimo.
'Come on... You wouldn't want your own partner in crime dating your own kid would you?'
'That's a dense question don't you think? Seeing as I'm happy for you to date her, and she's not a kid anymore'.
Yeah, he's right about that, then again your middle name is practically Dense.
'Look... I just don't know, I'm a little confused right now'.
Baloc nodded, 'I understand, I can really tell', he looked at his watch, 'I really hope no more bodies show up', Storm nodded, 'I really hope not, this has been pretty surprising given how quick those bodied were reported, maybe they could've been killed together?'
'Maybe'.
Who is this person?
