Foils moved quickly through the thickets, his footsteps were the only ones that could be heard throughout the area. His heavy jacket blocked the wind that fought against him. He had been walking for quite some time, and they had told him to leave his vehicle behind to no one could find it nearby the house.

'Fuck this shit'.

He growled as he nearly rolls his ankle, but his anger is gone when he starts to see the light up ahead, the house! He was told to meet in this specific house so no one could know their whereabouts, though it wasn't like anyone would venture out here, but better to be safe than sorry.
He heard the floorboards creak under his weight, the porch wasn't so desolate, to the right he could see the outdoor living area and a little fireplace and he saw the chimney leading up into the roof. On his left he saw a day bed, and it sat in front of a window. When he knocked on the door, he could hear it echo.

Is anyone even fucking home?

He'd be pissed if he'd made his way over here to find that no one was actually there to greet him.

'You're rather impatient'.

Foils spun around in fright, 'what the fuck!' He fell against the door, his hand over his heart, 'fuck you Marcus!' He seethed at the man who made his way onto the porch.

'Why'd you make me come all the way here?'

Marcus's face no longer held any humor, 'we need to go inside first', he shoved his hand into the pocket of his jacket and pulled out what looked like a key and motioned for Foils to move to the side.
Inside was very cozy and warm, it seemed like Marcus had lit a fire and let it heat the whole house up.

'Drink?'

Marcus asked as he went to the fridge, 'yeah sure, whatever you've got, you can pick for me', Foils said as he shoved his hands in his own pockets and trudged around the house.

'This house belonged to my grandfather, he always like me, not so much my father, but he didn't care, he just wanted the best for him'.

'It's good that you've got it, so this is basically your holiday home then'.

Marcus chuckled, 'yeah... Until that guy', Foils saw Marcus lean back a little and sigh. He pulled out two beers, 'this is all i got, might go shopping a little later down the track', he muttered.

'Sorry, I didn't mean to say that'.

Foils moved to the side to allow Marcus to sit down, 'about that guy, he's been following us', Foils froze, 'what? You serious? How?'

'He's killed two people already, I saw it on the news'.

'How do you know it's him? It could be anyone?'

Marcus frowned, 'have you even been listening to the news? Do you even know who the victims are?' Foils shook his head, 'okay maybe not, but I hear the news every now and then'.

'James Holly and Sarah Moore'.

Foils eyes grew wide, 'are you serious? They're both dead?'

'He must have found out about Holly talking to us, and Sarah Moore, she came across Holly with some information that he was not meant to reveal, so she was pulled into this mess. Remember when Holly told us about about her? She was beautiful but she was an absolute bitch'.

'Oh how wonderful'.

'We don't get the best of both worlds'.
