Baloc hit the brakes when he reached the building, 'stay in the car', he told Ms. Malloy, before he hopped out and pulled out his gun.
The door was still open which allowed him to make a stealthy entrance. He saw Storm on the ground and the man next to him looked like Graves.

'Storm!'

Baloc lowered his gun and rushed over to him, only to stop in his tracks when he noticed Marcus and Leo. They quickly aimed their guns at each other. But Storm yelled out, 'it's okay Baloc! They're okay they won't hurt us, they saved me!'
Baloc was hesitant, but he lowered his gun slowly as did Marcus. Storm tried to move but groaned in pain, 'shit, I'm gonna have to get some help here', he clicked his fingers to get their attention. All three of them made their way over to him, being mindful of Graves who was still conscious.

'You may have me, but my daughter will be safe from you fuckers! She'll come back, I know she will'.

Baloc grabbed Storm's shoulder and looked over to Graves, 'I don't think that will be happening anytime soon', his voice held no emotion at all and Storm watched the hope drain from Graves's face, 'what do you mean? What did you do to her!?' But Baloc ignored him for a few moments and helped Storm up, passing him over to Leo and Marcus, 'I couldn't save her, there was nothing I could do'.
Graves jumped to his feet in seconds, completely ignoring the pain in his shoulder and hand.

'You killed my daughter!'

He lunged towards Baloc who didn't have enough time to draw his weapon. But before he could touch him, a shot was fired. Storm flinched from the sound and waited until the ringing faded. Graves had fallen to the ground, his eyes were open in an endless stare. The bullet had passed through his right temple and out the other side, killing him straight away.
It was Leo who had taken the shot this time, he was still holding onto Storm, 'shit... Oh shit', Storm could tell that he was starting to panic, 'you're okay, you had no choice', Storm said softly, 'it's okay'.
Outside they heard the sirens, 'well it's about fucking time', Baloc snarled as he put his gun away in his holster, 'come on, we might as well go out and meet them', he stepped over Graves's body.

When they emerged from the building, the officers jumped out of their vehicles and brought out their weapons, but Baloc motioned for them to stop, 'it's done, Graves's dead', he was in no mood to deal with them. If he hadn't of gotten to Storm on time, then he would've been killed... But... He stopped for a moment, he hadn't gotten there on time. He stopped in his tracks and turned to look at Leo and Marcus, who returned his gaze. He hadn't gotten here in time, but they had.
Leo Foils and Marcus Humphrey were heroes in his eyes.
