Graves stood stock still when he noticed that the washing machine had been moved, judging by the awkward way it was sitting. They had found his secret room, and everything that was in there.
Quickly, he shoved the machine to the side and could see that the lock had been broken, allowing him to swing the door open much quicker than usual. He skidded to a halt at the bottom of the stairs when his eyes landed on the study table. His stomach dropped when he saw that it had been wiped clean, they had taken everything. He booted up the computer and tried to scan through to find all the documents that he was after, but he found nothing.
'Fuck!'
He screamed as he slammed his hand down onto the table, he was in trouble, the FBI had his information.
'Melissa!'
He didn't care about her real name, this was her name from now on. Melissa came down the steps in two, her eyes were wide with shock when she saw that everything had been cleaned, 'dad, what's going on?'
'They've got everything! We need to find them fast, otherwise everything will turn to shit!'
'So... Does that mean that they also know where Foils and Humphrey are?'
Graves raked his fingers through his hair, 'yes, they know and I'd say they've pieced things together by now', Melissa rung her hands, an obvious sign of fear, 'do you think they're going to sabotage everything?'
'The FBI?'
'Also them, but I really mean Foils and Humphrey'.
Graves stares her straight in the eyes, 'I will make sure that they don't, so right now, I need your help in tracking those arseholes'.
He had to find those two particular agents that had kept bugging him previously, because they knew the whereabouts of Foils and Humphrey, 'we're going to go on another little hunt', Melissa frowned, 'who else are we hunting?' Graves brought up two profiles.Baloc Robertson and Storm Fernald.
He had no time left, not even having any time to target the two agents family, he couldn't risk anymore.
'We're after these two, they're our only lead at the moments and they also have all of our information'.
Melissa rolled her eyes, 'I knew they were going to be a pain, sounds like a plan', Graves loved how quick Melissa was able to change when she was angry, it was delightful and it also meant that she would be more useful to him.
When they came back to the car, Ms. Malloy was sitting patiently inside, 'is everything okay?' She asked gently and Graves gave her a small smile, 'of course, we've got all we need, but we just need to meet a couple of people before we go find the other fuckers', she frowned, 'other people? Who are they?''You remember Agent Robertson and Fernald'.
He watched her eyes grow wide, 'what're you going to do? They'll arrest you on sight!' Graves chuckled, 'I won't step out in front of them, I only need to see what they're up to, after all, they took a majority of my stuff when they did the search over on this house'.
'So, you're going to hack into their proper system?'
Graves smiled and nodded, 'you're catching on real quick sweetie', he stroked Ms. Malloy's face, 'I love you so much', he said before getting into the car.
