Fiona's POV

After Julie finishes the first verse and enters the chorus, the boys teleport themselves suddenly beside her and join in. How did their instruments appear? - that leaves even me stumped.

I can't help but jump up and dance along. It's unbelievable what energy the four of them can radiate together. Their harmonies are incredible. The power in it blows you away. They are simply amazing. One hundred percent, some great things can come out of this. This can become really big, I can feel it.

Actually, I expected to see Melanie right behind me, dancing along. But she is still sitting on the bed with her mouth open. You can see the shock in her eyes.

Only after a moment I even realize what is happening right now. The only explanation is that she can suddenly see the boys playing.

She doesn't have to believe that I don't notice her staring at Reggie. But not only her... By the time Reggie realises that Melanie can see them, he himself can hardly concentrate on the song.

The two of them earn smirking looks from everyone else. Whether they even notice is the other question. They seem to be in a world where only they exist – I absolutely ship them!

After Julie's last sound disappears, all six of us don't know how to react. Everyone stands there, looking at each other questioningly, wondering what just happened.

"W-wait was I just dreaming or hallucinating?", Melanie stutters out.

"They're still in front of you...", I say softly.

"You're kidding, right? Just now I don't see anything and before that there are three boys standing in front of me that fit your descriptions exactly."

"So you only see them when they sing to me? My goodness what surprises are there waiting for us?" Julie wonders as she throws her hands over her head.

"Reggie, you're almost drooling." Luke is the first of the boys to say something.

"Not a word!" Reggie warns.

I can't help but laugh as I wink at Melanie.

She just rolls her eyes and starts to blush. She knows exactly what I'm getting at and sticks her tongue out at me.

"What is the meaning of all this right now? Is it only like this with Melanie or can all people see us in this way?"

I shrug my shoulders slightly because I don't know what this realisation will change.

"Oh god, not more changes..."

I start to grin inwardly because Alex reminds me so much of myself. Now I finally know that there are more people who are as bad as me at this kind of things, like changes - it seems to run in the family.

"Romeo and Juliet - the tragedy"

This poster hangs at the entrance to my classroom. And even after I enter the room, a PowerPoint slide is up with the main as well as supporting roles.

"No way - our first play is really going to be Romeo and Juliet", Jake says in amazement.

"I should have guessed. It's the classic," I reply.

Just then, our mentor Mr Smith walks in. As always, he carries his brown briefcase, which he hangs on a hook on the stage. I don't want to embarrass myself, but at first I thought it was a prop.

"Today I'm going to introduce you to your first big project. You have completed a few exercises so far, where you could develop yourselves a little further, but at the same time get to know the others. Because you know my motto: interpersonal chemistry is the key to convincing the audience!"
