Still at odds

It's been a week and Nas was still not talking Nicki like he use to. She was not seeing his point of view at moment he was at a place where he wasn't going to argue with her. If she didn't get it he was just going to forget it and move on. He was in California he had both his kids with him he thought about extending an invite to Nicki but thought against it he didn't want to force her to leave her spot.
He had a lot on his mind he had heard through the grapevine that meek was still contacting her and that was a problem if she wasn't telling he wasn't about to ask her that because she had given him no reason to doubt her on what she was doing. The future thing was a little questionable but he had put the fear of god in future so he knew nothing was happening that  side but more importantly he trusted Nicki she was a little too loving but that was it.

Nicki had just landed in California she was planning to surprise Nas she knew things was not what it was because of her mess up but she was ready to have things back to the way they was and she was ready to finally give him the apology that he deserve  if anyone said Nasir jones wasn't petty the lied big time because after he left Miami she spotted him in the club and he didn't answer her calls until he felt like it and he pulled a her on her by catching an attitude when she questioned him. But destiny had called her to let her know that both her and knight would be at her fathers and she should come so they could all hang out together she was a little hurt that Nas didn't extend the invite to her but she was happy that Destiny did.

Nicki made her way into the car that would take her to Nas house the drive was relatively short she texted Des to let her know she was on her way. She pulled up to Nas house Des had told the security to let her in . Nicki rang the door bell and waited
Nas heard the door bell go off he had just come in the house to get knight a towel he laughed as his kids played in the pool these was the days he longed for , he opened the door and was surprised to see Nicki there he stepped to the side to let her in he missed seeing her but he was only very strong in his ways

Nicki : "sorry for showing up and your doorstep like this"
Nas : " it's all good, the kids are in the back you can change and join us if you I know you very particular"
Nicki thought Onika 0- Nasir 1. He was still getting in the jabs she thought so he was still feeling petty. She bit her tongue and went to change Nas returned with the towel for Knight.
Destiny : " who was at the door"
Nas : " Nicki"
Knight : " really is she going to make us food again?"
Nas : " I'm starting to think your mom not feeding you you always want food"
Knight : " It depends on her definition of feed"
Nas : " boy I can't with you"

Nicki : " is that my husband knight and the beautiful  Destiny"
Destiny : " hey Nicki"
Knight : " wife you cooking today ?"
Nas : " knight !"
Nicki : " it's ok bae, imma make you burgers and fries and chocolate cake for dinner"

Nas left Nicki and the kids by the pool to go inside Nicki knew Nas was avoiding her she asked Destiny to watch knight as she made her way inside she found Nas in his library
Nicki : " so I'm the the cat and you the mouse"
Nas looked up from the book he was reading
Nas : " I'm just giving you space you must have forgot that conversation we had on the beach what was your words again  I'm crowding you so now I'm giving you air"

Nicki : " Nasir you know I did not mean it like that I was just upset you came to Miami like a ranging  bull fucked me then wouldn't accept my apology"

Nas : " first of all I don't come to Miami like no bull or niggas would be dead , seconding you put me in that spot fine future like you but you got Quavo there too I know for a fact that nigga ain't hundred with you , third you wanted to be fucked  and fourth that wasn't an apology cus you not getting it I'm not mad you went to the club I'm mad you picked going out with them niggas over coming to me I'm mad that you put yourself in a situation for these niggas to think it's an opening I'm because you not being a hundred with me right now lay your cards on the table"

Nicki was silent for a minute she knew word had gotten back to Nasir about Meek contacting her once he said lay your cards on the table this was not how she pictured this day going.

She took a deep breath then opened her mouth then closed it again
Nicki : " first let me say I'm sorry for the whole Miami situation from choosing to hang with others stead of making my way to you cus I know you would have made it to be of you had the time and I had asked you probably would have dropped everything , secondly you right I don't know niggas heart towards me so I shouldn't be having them disturbing my space and energy, and Meeks been in contact with me"

Nas : " I appreciate you finally seeing my point I never what you to be out here with people that I'm not sure will be done for you like future I know he crushing but he won't hurt you but the rest I'm not sure about I never want niggas to feel they can speak on you because you was nice to them"

Nas paused for a minute
Nas: " as for the meek getting in touched with you when this start ?"

Nicki : " three weeks ago"

Nas eyes got wide three weeks ago they was good they ain't have no problems three weeks ago she was telling Kelis that he just had sex with her this was not what he was expecting to her but he trusted Nicki so he pushed that all to the side

Nas : " and what was that all about if I'm not over stepping"

Nicki : " he was just saying he's sorry for how we ended and that he misses me you know his situation already"

Nas : " and how do you feel about what he is saying?"

Nicki : " I'm in a relationship with you nasir I a happy one how do you think I feel"
Nas got up from his desk and hugged Nicki just to let her know he understood what she was saying

Nas : " just let me know when them feelings should ever change"
Nas said before he kissed Nicki he was happy it was all on the table nicki might not know it but he knew meek was still in love with her and her fans still seem to like her and meek together but if she was on this journey with him he would ride for her till the wheels fell off.
Nicki : "let's get back to the kids  i promised  husband to make him burgers for dinner"
Nas : " I ain't remember you telling me that but go off"
Nicki : " you not my husband that the other jones"
Nas : " damn you like Jungle now"
Nicki slapped him
Nicki : "boy you know I'm talking knight"
Nas : " alright after you done feeding your fake husband you going to come upstairs and feed your real husband"
Nicki : " we not having sex in this house with your kids"
Nas : "wanna bet you be riding dick my time they sleeping"
Nicki said nothing she missed the Nicki she misses lips all over body she clenched her legs together but Nas caught it all

Nas : " yeah I thought so keep it wet till them for me I got to say sorry for neglecting my girls" he said referring to Nicki breast

They held hands and walked towards the pool Destiny smiled up on them she was happy they worked out there funk. Nas pulled Nicki to him and kissed her temples

Nas : " I love you so much you don't know hard it was staying mad at you it was like going against my heart"
Nicki : " I love you too baby never again"
