Nicki has finished making the Mac and cheese her mom had come with fried king fish for Nasir and Nasir was going around the house telling everyone it was his and his only, her bother was on the out Nas at the moment her girls where freshing  up knight hadn't gotten hear as yet Destiny sat in the kitchen with her Nas friends had began to come one by one the food had the house smelling like a restaurant.
Momma Carol : " you look happy"
Nicki : " I am happy"
Nicki : " mommy can you start putting these out on the table for me while I check on the cake

Destiny: " what kind of cake ?"

Nicki : " you your daddy's Child for sure"
Destiny laughed she knew her dad was a trip when it came to food

Nicki : " New York style cheese cake with 4 topping of your choice"

Destiny smiled  nicki went to freshen up  so they could alll eat she prayed knight would be hear by then
Nas had excused himself from Nicki brother as his phone rang
Driver : boss he's not hear
He hanged up
Calling Kelis for her not to be answering him he sent out some rapid text to her only for her to reply he's with his his friends
He was about to call her out by her name but calmed himself this was the mother of his child that's all he was chanting
Gabe sense something was wrong and went outside to his brother
Gabe : what you need me to do

Nas : " it's just Kelis man she keep not letting me get him"
Gabe : " I know you respect her as the mother of your child but we got to go to court for his enough is enough it's time to make Anthony take the lead in this"
Nicki came down and saw Nas and Gabe in what looked like an intense conversation
Nicki : " how long they been out there "
Ruben: " maybe 20 minutes"
Nas thought of Gabe words this was crazy but he also needed to see his son

Nas gave Gabe the nod
Gabe : " go inside let me make the call I will be in shortly"
Gabe told Anthony what was happening and that Nas had given the go ahead while on the phone with Gabe Anthony began to send an email to there legal team he has wanted this for Nas for so long he wouldn't let nothing stop his brother from seeing his nephew . Nas went inside and hugged Nicki, she could tell my how tight he squeezed her something was wrong she held him closer and whispered what's wrong

Nas : " we will talk about it later ok babe"

She nodded her head and pulled him through the door he caught John about to take his king fish
Nas :" what you doing"
John was like a deer caught in a headlight he just looked down
Nicki : " it's ok I got you after we say grace john"
Nas : " no she ain't got you it's not hers it's mine"
Destiny: " dad when you sounding like you four"
Nas : girl hush up
Nicki : that's what I thought you getting served last just for that"

Nas : " ain't no one eating unless I get that's on everything"

They all laughed
Nicki mother lead them in prayer Nicki served Nas first and he watched her as she gave John some king fish John made sure to show Nas his plate they was half way through with dinner when Gabe came back in he took a seat and Nicki made him a plate

Nicki : " I know I gave you'll a scare but thanks for welcoming me into this family you'll got going"

Nas : " you welcome baby we always got your back"

The guys started leave one by one destiny said she was staying the night her and Nicki was about to have a girls night. Nas was happy to see Des and Nicki building a relationship. He went outside and took deep breaths
Nicki : " you want to tell me what's stressing you this much"
Nas: " Kelis"
That's all he had to say for Nicki to understand he wanted his son and he wasn't getting him.
Nicki : " baby let's pray about it God about to get this one right for us
