Looking like a little bit too late

Nas couldn't remember the last time he was out here playing beach football this was Gabe brilliant plan and even tho he might not admit it he was having fun he pushed whatever relationship problems he was having to the side and focused on the now.   The drinks and the laughs have not stopped since he got here he had to hand it to his friends they came in clutch and have not let up he was just happy at the moment.
Nicki was gearing up to visit Nas in Hawaii he literally has not called or texted in two days he had cut her off cold turkey like she has heard about how he could cut someone off without a care in the world but experiencing it was different from hearing the words . They had taken off and she was just sitting and looking out she thought of her relationship with Nasir she liked what they was building but she wasn't ready to be someone's wife just yet this freedom and voice she had found she wasn't ready to let go of it just yet she wanted them to continue on the path they was on with no rush. She didn't want to be put in that glass house again. She was so lost in her thoughts and she hadn't realized they was in Hawaii it truly was a beautiful place she went in the car
Driver : " where to ?"
She opened her phone and looked for the address Nas had sent her when he had invited her she repeated it to the driver and they was on there way they pulled up to the location and all she could have thought was damn this is beautiful the place was fit for royalty Nas has chosen well and to think she passed up on this to record she heard Nasir laughter and she followed it to the beach where she saw him playing with his friends he looked so relaxed as if he hadn't missed her.
Gabe spotted her before Nas spotted her he gave a slight frown before signaling to Nas to look this way the smell fell from nas face as he turned around fully to look on her. He was not fucking with her she thought Nas slowly made his way towards her.

Nas : " what are you doing here ?"
Nicki : " you ain't want me here ?"
Nas: " nah I wanted you here and you wanted to be doing you now I'm good on you not being here"
Nicki : " why are you being like this?"
Nas : "'you know I've never sugar coated things with you I say it as I see it , now why you really here onika ?"
Nicki : "I don't like the way things went after our last conversation and I know you seen the posts"

Nas : " so you came because I didn't respond to your messages and that I knew you was enjoying time with friends and not recording"

Nicki : " Nasir!!!!"
Nas : " trust it's all good nothing to be worried about you stated what you wanted to do I feel you on it you didn't have to come here to sort that out , but since you here let me get you a room set up"
Nas extend his hand towards Nicki she took it but she wasn't liking this Behavior from Nasir
They walked into the house it was beautiful she could see why he wanted this for them but she had ruined that

Nas : " you can get a room on this side or be on the other side of the house with me and Gabe"
Nicki : " why can't I share a room with you ?"
Nas : "because we clearly have shit to talk about and I'm not clouding my mind by acting like everything is good I love you and you say you love me but you was free enough to be chilling ,  being out and about with your friends but not come here with me but as soon as I give you another energy you here , it's like you don't get it had  you come and given me that Time that you was out with your friends and went back to record I Would have been happy but don't back track now that shit hit the fan this something a clear way forward has to be made I'm giving you time to think do you want a relationship or not don't answer now think about it"
Nicki was shock by the words coming out of Nas mouth she never experienced this before I man letting her know he ready but if she not he was ok with leaving her.
She went into the room Nas had placed her stuff in it was beautiful she was looking at a beautiful waterfalls she really should have come with him at first but she just wanted to hang with her girls first.
Nas went back outside with the boys they was still having a good time but everyone sat on beach chair while smoking Cigars

Gabe : " everything good ?"
Nas : " nah but we here to have a good time"
Ruben : " let's drink to that"
John: " we going to be waking up on the beach tomorrow"
Nas laughed
Nas : " maybe you'll but I was built for this"
Nas sipped his Hennessy while talking to his friend thoughts of nicki kept bushing to the front of his mind he and texted the maid to ensure she had dinner and told her to come out if she wanted to. Seems she didn't want to.
Nicki had just finish her shower when there was a knock on the door she let the person know it was open a lady came in with trolly filled with food letting her know Nas was still thinking of her. She let her know he had invited her to join him and his friends on the beach.
Nicki thought about it but didn't want to go she went into the bed and but on CSI and was just chilling she heard nasir loud laughs from outside
