Till and I finished grabbing all of the presents and putting them under the tree.

"What do you think their favorite present is going to be?" Till asked as we sat down on the couch.

"Probably the tickets," I nodded my head. "Definitely the tickets."

Till kissed me.

"Your hair is growing back fast," I grazed my hand over his head.

"Yeah, it is."

"God, I can't believe I'm already three months pregnant-it does not feel like that."

"I can't believe that you flew to Spain just to see me."

"Why won't you let this go?"

"Because I can't! That's fucking ridiculous that you did that!"

"I could say the same about you."

"You could," He smirked.

He leaned into me and cupped my cheek, then kissed me. I kissed him back and put my hands on his chest, but he pushed them away and got on top of me, then started to take off my shirt, but I pushed his hands away.

"What?" He got off of me.

"My kids are upstairs."

"So?"

"I'll be too loud."

"Not if you have tape on."

I gasped. "Till!"

"That's me."

"Want to go to bed?"

"Not really."

I grabbed his hand and guided him to the bedroom, then we sat down.

"I need to tell you something, Till," I said.

"Yes?"

"Whenever we talked on the phone, we would argue."

"Yes."

"But, I can't imagine arguing with you, now."

"Neither can I."

"I didn't like that, Till. For days I thought that we were going to end."

His face fell. "You did?"

"Till, I didn't want it to," I put my hand on top of his. "But I thought it would."

"I don't want to lose you, Rilla."

I let go of his hand and laid down in his lap as he stroked my hair.

"I love you too much to let you go," He kissed the top of my head and I felt something wet hit my head.

I sat up and saw that he was crying, which made me cry, so I hugged him. "Don't be sad, Till."

"How can I not be sad?!" He whispered. "How?! You just told me you-"

"Thought it was going to end, Till. It was only a thought."

"The guy who crashed into the Twin Towers thought of it."

"Don't say that," I let go of him. "That's not the same thing."

"I'm sorry, Rilla."

"Let's go to bed, okay?" I kissed him.

We got into bed and I fell asleep safely in his arms.
