*Annabeth's POV*

"Lou, can you come here please?"

I call for my boyfriend, my eyebrows furrowed.

"Yeah, what's up, babe?" He walks in my room, eyebrows raised in curiosity.

"Can you get that board game off the top shelf please. I can't reach it." I whine, pouting like a small child.

Louis laughs, shaking his head. "Sure, sure."

He steps in front of me and reaches up, standing on his tip toes slightly before snatching the game of Life and handing it to me.

"There you go. Are you gunna beat me at this too?" He smirks.

I smile. "Hell yeah, I am!"

We set up the game in the living room floor, me picking the green car and Louis picking the red one. I deal out our money slowly while Louis keeps a close eye on me.

I shoot him a playful glare. "You think I'm gunna cheat?"

He puts a hand on his chest, gasping as if my comment hurt him. "You? Cheating?" He scoffs. "I'm offended, babe."

I roll my eyes, throwing a few of the pink and blue pieces that are supposed to be children at him. "You are such an arse!"

He throws his head back in laughter, clutching his sides. "Hey, don't throw our children at me! I don't think Luke would like that very much!"

I giggle, rolling my eyes again. "Seriously, you're already naming our children? It's a bit early for that don't ya think?"

Louis sits up, picking up the small pieces that landed beside him on the fluffy carpet. "I was only joking, love. Just throwing names out there ahead of time isn't exactly a bad thing.."

I take the pieces from him, putting them back inside the box. "Lou, we don't even know if we'll be together then. Let's not get ahead of ourselves."

I laugh half heartedly, not liking where this conversation is going. Louis actually looks slightly offended though, and it doesn't go unnoticed by me.

"You honestly think that? That we won't be together in the next three years or so?" Louis asks, more so out of frustration than curiosity.

I shrug my shoulders. "I dunno, Lou. I mean... You travel the world on a yearly basis, always meeting new people. Anything could happen."

Louis sits up straighter, looking me in the eye. "You're scared I'll meet someone else while I'm away, aren't you? Annabeth..."

I stop him before he can start. "I'm not saying it will happen Louis, I'm just saying there's a chance. You're still young and there are lots more girls out there lined up waiting for you to be single. You and I both know what happened with you and Eleanor; I don't want a repeat, God I don't. It's not me I'm worried about, Louis. It's you. I don't want you to get bored and lonely while we're apart and something to happen, I just-"

"Woah, woah, woah. Annabeth, listen to me." Louis shakes his head violently, running a sweaty hand through his hair. "Look. I will never, ever get bored of you. Sure, I will miss you more than anything or anyone else, so bad it'll hurt; and yes, I will be lonelier than ever, but the first thing on my mind will not be finding someone to replace you. I'm terrified just as much as you are, love. I don't want a repeat of what happened with Eleanor anymore than you do. But I trust that you won't do anything like that while I'm gone. I love you so much, and I know you love me, yeah?"

I nod my head, wiping a few stray tears away. "Yeah, I do. Very, very much."

He nods his head once, taking my hand in his. "Then we shouldn't have a problem."
