*Annabeth's POV*
"Have a lovely rest of the day Annabeth, and good luck on your other exams." Mr. Parker smiles at me as I get ready to walk out of the classroom.
"Thank you Mr. Parker, you have a lovely day as well. And thank you for letting me stay a bit longer to finish. I got stuck on a few and the extra time really did help." I smile gratefully at him as I thank him for his never ending kindness to me.
"It's really no problem. Now hurry along before you're late for work." He shoos me away with a small wave of his hand.
I thank him once more before leaving him alone in his classroom, and I'm left walking alone to my car across campus.
My thoughts are jumbled up of so much, including exams and a certain someone special, but my time to think is short lived.
"Hi Annabeth."
I jump, startled. "What the hell!"
I turn around to take notice of the person following me, and I'm immediately taken aback.
"Louis?"
He smiles slyly. "Yup. It's me. Sorry I scared you."
I eye him shocked. He's wearing sunglasses, even though there isn't a drop of sunlight showing, and a red hoodie covered by a thick black winter coat. A gray beanie covers his messy hair and he's wearing black Vans without socks on his feet. Typical Louis.
"It's fine, and if you don't mind me asking...why are you here?" I raise an eyebrow questioningly at him.
His smile widens. "I just wanted to see you and ask you out to lunch later. I thought we could go back to the coffee shop where we met the first time."
I bite back a smile. He wanted to see me? And he asked me out to lunch? I don't know how much more of this I can take. His kindness is means more to me than anything, and it almost brings tears to my eyes.
Don't judge me, I'm an emotional person. And it's that time of month.
"Really?" I try to hide the excitement in my voice, but I can tell I'm not doing very well at it. "You do know that you could've just texted me or called me to ask, right?"
His cheeks burn a light shade of pink and he shrugs his shoulders. "I didn't think texting you was a very proper way to do it. I felt like asking you in person was more...nice. Plus, I...I-I just wanted to see you."
He looks away and I feel my cheeks burn.
Louis wanted to see me.
Louis Tomlinson wanted to see me.
LOUIS FUCKING TOMLINSON WANTED TO SEE ME.
I'm totally fine, I swear.
"Oh. Well, I have work in an hour, but my lunch break is at 11:30 if we can do it then?" I say with a smile.
His face lights up and his smile could've lit up the whole world, as cheesy as that sounds. When I see his excitement, I decide not to hide mine anymore.
"Yeah, sure! Where do you work? I'll pick you up." He suggests. I've noticed he's really jumpy and his hands are twitching like mad. Yeah, he's definitely excited, as hard as that is to believe for me.
"It's a music shop just inside the south side of the city called Madison's Music. You may not have ever heard of it before, it's pretty old, but it's a bit small and not as popular as the other few in town."
He thinks for a moment before replying. "No, I don't think I've heard of it, but I'm sure I'll find it, so no worries."
I nod, still smiling. I think about the time and know I have to go in order to make it to work on time. My smile drops slightly in guilt that I have to leave him behind and he notices.
